Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes liner brown

Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes Precision Longwear Eyeliner ($24) is a new felt tipped liquid eyeliner that launched with Tarte Poppy Picnic Summer 2015 Collection.

Although the Lights, Camera, Lashes Precision Longwear Eyeliner isn’t new by any means the deep brown shade available for a limited time with the Summer 2015 Collection is!

This is actually an awesome shade that goes very, very well with the Poppy Picnic Eyeshadow Palette as it’s a deep, rich shade of brown that pairs up well with the peachier shades available in the palette.

The shade is super pigmented and opaque on a single layer with a smooth, easy glide. The flexible tip has a tapered end and a precise point which makes it easy to hug your lash line for a thinner line initially but widens out as you apply so it fills between lashes and provides a smooth, straight, even line. It wears beautifully on my drier eyes without smearing or fading and sets to a satiny finish for a strong 12 hours of wear and easy removal at the end of the night.

As you can see it comes in a bright packaging for Summer versus the standard black casing that Tarte typically favors for the permanent black shade!

If you’re looking for a rich shade of brown liquid liner I’d highly recommend grabbing up Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes Precision Longwear Eyeliner for your looks! This is a nice shade that will work great with bronze-y, peach, gold, and nude shades of eyeshadow.

Grab it now at tartecosmetics.com or at Ulta, Ulta.com, Sephora, and Sephora.com.

I got this last week during the VIB sale, and I have to say I hate it after a few times using it. The tip already feels dry and dragging. I loved it the first 1 or 2 times I used it, but since then it just feels more and more dry. I tried to store it upside down to see if that would help, but it didn’t. Sadly it’s going back along with an Ardency Inn Modster liner.

WOW no kidding! I didn’t have any such issue! It was a nice flow, quite pigmented…maybe you got a fluke!?

I’m bummed. I actually gave it another shot this morning after storing it upside down for a few days, and it’s still the same. I ended up going over it with Stila liquid liner. Maybe it’s a dud. I have the same liner in black from Tarte and it’s fantastic.

    I have a love-hate relationship with this–

I love the product–the application, the color, the finish, the wear, it doesn’t bother my sensitive eyes (most liquid liners do)

I hate that it’s only for summer!!

I don’t like black liner–it looks awful on me and I have small eyes so it does me no favors. I really hope they make it permanent in this brown shade!
