Urban Decay Beware Eyeshadow

Urban Decay Beware Eyeshadow ($18) is a repromoted matte eyeshadow that makes a permanent appearance in the Urban Decay Summer 2015 Makeup Collection. You might recognize it Beware Eyeshadow as it did make a full size appearance in the Urban Decay Theodora Oz Eyeshadow Palette.

It’s quite nice to see its return as it is a gorgeous matte shade with a delicious formula that makes it an essential shade for matte lovers.

Urban Decay Beware Eyeshadow is a warmer, light bark shade of brown. It’s actually an unassuming shade that looks a little boring! But I promise it’s totally an essential shade that will be very welcome in your stash as it’ll be something you reach for quite often.

This texture is soft, silky, and beautifully textured with excellent pigmentation. Not dense, not dry, this a formula that does matte eyeshadow proud!

You likely do not need Beware if you already own the Theodora Eyeshadow Palette BUT who knows yours might be running a bit low by now! I love that Urban Decay has now made this a permanent shade. It’s definitely not one to be missed and a very essential shade that’s work friendly that creates fabulously easy, elegant eye looks!

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Curious how this looks against Buck! Buck is my go-to crease shade since it just barely shows on my skin for a nice natural contour-y crease shade.

I’m curious about that too. I LOVE the Buck in my original Naked palette, but when I purchased the single in the new formula, it didn’t have that tiny hint of orange that I love so much. I’m really hoping that this will be closer to the original Buck. (If not, I love warm browns. So I’m sure I’ll still like it.)

  • Caroline

that color is really nice on you.

I like that they look creamy, too. Nice!

  • Pam

Beware looks great on you! What pretty pink blush are you wearing on your cheeks?

Thanks Pam! 🙂 I’m not sure, it’s one of the new Colourpop blushes, review is upcoming but don’t know the name at the moment 🙂 sorry about that!

np! 🙂 It’ll be live shortly sorry I didn’t know the shade! I’ll let ya know though when I get home 😀

Like others, I’d also be curious how it compares to Buck? I love using Buck as a crease shade!
