Yves Rocher Pink Grapefruit Vitamin Face Mist

I recently purchased Yves Rocher Pink Grapefruit Vitamin Face Mist ($5) because you know I don’t have nearly ENOUGH facial mist in my life. Yeah, so if it was a toss up between facial mists and hand soaps I’d have to say I hoarded both like they are never going to be made again.

One of my skincare staples is facial mist! I love really hydrating mists to prep my skin for my other skincare. I don’t typically set with facial mists but I do use them to prep my skin so after a shower I’m misting away or in the evening after removing my makeup the first thing I do after a cleanse is mist.

Yves Rocher Pink Grapefruit Vitamin Face Mist is a highly fragrances items so sadly it won’t be a good pick for everyone! I personally like scented skincare so the tart grapefruit fragrance is very pleasant although user friendly warning don’t get this into your eyes! I did experience a little hint of a sting when I got it anywhere near my eyes.

Honestly, this kinda reminds me of some of the Vitamin Facial Mists that Skin Food has brought out in the past but with way more fragrance and at a smaller size (it’s only 1.6 oz in size!). The bottle might be small but it mists out quite a good deal so it does give make your face pretty darn wet as it isn’t a fine mist. That’s ok though as I don’t mind.

You can use it to fix makeup but I wouldn’t suggest it personally since it isn’t a finer mist and could potentially screw up your makeup versus set it!

It isn’t super hydrating but it does leave skin nicely soften and smooth for your moisturizer. It does however, take a few minutes to dry down as it does make your face very wet!

I dunno if Yves Rocher Pink Grapefruit Vitamin Face Mist is a life changing face mist but if you need a little something to tip your next Yves Rocher cart into the free shipping zone it might be worth picking up! Personally I’ve tried a lot better mists and at such a small size I could easily use this little guy up in a week! So I’ll stick to others and skip out on a repurchase of this.

Tried it?

I worry a little bit about the grapefruit extract but otherwise it sounds really nice.

(sigh) Nice this works for you but it seems like 99% of facial mists have fragrance, and my face can’t take any fragrance.
