10 Budget Cream Blush Suggestions for Summer

budget cream blushes

Tis the season for cream blushes and I created a list of 10 Budget Cream Blush Suggestions for Summer that will give your cheeks the perfect flush of lightweight color without breaking your beauty budget!

I dunno what it is but when Summer rolls around I start going through my stash and setting aside all my cream blushes so I can wear them more often. Maybe it’s because they tend to be travel friendly and easy to apply without a ton of tools (just dab them on with your fingers and blend out!). Or maybe it’s because they are so lightweight and provide such natural color!

Whatever it is I tend to love wearing cream blush in the Summer.

How about you?

Colourpop Super Shock Cheek $8 (Review & Swatches)
Of course, topping this budget list is Colourpop’s Super Shock Cheek Blush! At $8 each these hybrid cream powder blushes provide seamless, natural color that’s easy to customize and build for more pop. The color applies like a cream and wears like a powder with a strong hold. Add in the fact that Colourpop has them available in a wide range of shades and you have a most perfect blush experience!

NYX Cream Blush $5.99
NYX’s creamy emollient formula has excellent wear and provides dewy, natural color that applies and blends easily onto cheeks for a perfect flush!

Avon Be Blushed Cheek Color $8
Call it my first experience with a blush stick! Avon’s Be Blushed Cheek Color Sticks and I go way back! These have always played so nicely with my skin providing creamy color with a nice, strong wear and an easy to blend formula that provides polished color to cheeks with an easy swipe on application.

NYX Stick Blush $5.99
If no fuss application is your deal you’ll love these little NYX Stick Blushes! You can swipe ’em on, blend ’em out, and build them for customizable color that gives cheeks a pop of vibrant color that’s super Summer friendly and fun!

Revlon Photoready Cream Blush $13.99 (Review & Swatches)
Natural and seamless? Photoready Cream Blush delivers natural color to cheeks that has a super seamless finish and an incredible long wear! Just as great a formula as Bobbi Brown’s Potted Rouge but at half the price these drugstore blushes are definitely brilliant.

Boots No7 Blush Tint Stick $7.99
I so have a thing for blush sticks especially when I’m headed on vacation to a warm, humid environment. They travel SO friendly (TSA won’t mind in the least!) and they are easy as 1, 2, 3 to get on your face and go. Boots No7’s formula is creamy and easy to apply in a range sophisticated colors!

Ulta Lip + Cheek Color Stick $10 (Review & Swatches)
Ulta’s new blush sticks act as a multitasking devil for both cheeks and lips so if you’re the girl or guy that likes to get two things done at once these are a good go to!

Jordana Color Tint Blush Stick $2.99 (Review & Swatches)
The best bang for your buck comes in the form of Jordana’s three buck Color Tint Blush Sticks! I love these! They provide glistening, beautiful color to cheeks with a creamy formula that blends out like butter.

E.L.F. HD Blush $3 (Review & Swatches)
What even better bang for your buck? E.L.F.’s HD Blush is ridiculously pigmented with an incredibly long wearing formula! These are surely the Queen of the beauty budget cream blush world!

Maybelline Master Glaze Blush $5.62 (Review & Swatches)
I have a love hate relationship with the Master Glaze formula but even I can admit sometimes they are so easy to apply that you can’t resist have a few shades handy for a quick swipe and blend color experience. They wear a little on the short side but they sure do come in an array of pretty colors.

I hope you enjoyed my 10 Budget Cream Blush Suggestions for Summer!

I love cream blush in summer. Especially a blush stick. I just bought some of the Body Shop ones, that can be used for both lips and cheeks. I love those. Got a good deal, too, in their eternal buy 2, get 2 offers.
I have one of the Maybelline 100-year LE blush sticks, and it’s a pretty color, but I can’t warm to it for some reason. Formula and color seem fine, but it’s not a favorite.

    • Isabella Muse

Those are too cute! Did you see the new dome ones they have? Very cute too! 😀 I got one of the LE ones too! Haven’t tried it yet though ;-D

  • Gillie

I have a love/hate relationship with the ELF HD blushes. I had the same issue with the first pump that you talked about in your review, but didn’t think to shake the bottle right away. The product that’s left is more dense than intended, I think, but still blendable with a brush, so I keep using it. I don’t know why I don’t just buy a new one – Yankee frugality, maybe?

My other cheap go-to is the previous version of Ulta’s stick blush, in a peachy glow color. I picked it up right before it was discontinued, and I’m a little sad that I can’t replace it when it’s gone. It’s great for vacations and long travel days because it’s a tiny little thing that fits well in a purse or a pocket.

I think you’ve inspired me to try a new blush or two this summer, though!

    • Isabella Muse

Yeah, they are indeed a pain to work with! Dare I say almost TOO pigmented sometimes! Any luck on E-bay for it maybe!? ;-D haha I’m glad to hear it Gillie! Plenty of great blushes around for Summer!

Have you seen/tried the NYC Beautifying Blushable Cream Sticks? I am quite fair and use Soho Pink for a kiss of color. It blends easily and sheers out without any effort at all.

    • Isabella Muse

I have! I reviewed them a few years ago, they are great but for some reason kinda hard to find 🙂

      • Holly

Now how did I miss that? I thought I read all back entries. Maybe because I recently became interested in blush as I have no small amount of natural rosiness. But some foundations give me a more even skin tone than others. Anyhow, yes I believe they may be hard to find as I never leave a store with a cosmetics aisle without giving it a cursory pass through and have only seen them at my major local grocery called HEB. I don’t think even Ulta carries them. I guess I got lucky because I bought mine with a $1 coupon off the already attractive price.

I used to love NYX cream blushes years ago. I need to grab one for old times sake lol. I also want to try those ColourPop and Revlon cream blushes. I’ve heard great things about them

  • Candice

I have to take out some of my cream blushes to give them more of a “go”. It’s not my go-to formula and I have no reason why.

I have one Jordana, Maybelline, ELF HD, NYX cream, NYX stick… The only one I have a real reason for not using is the ELF one because it’s a very intense colour that I can’t seem to make look natural, and it’s so messy and just a huge pain to work with!

    • Isabella Muse

yeah, I’m not one for reaching for creams either Candice !

I like the Josie Maran coconut water cheek gelee — and while the full size isn’t really budget friendly you can buy the travel size for $13 which is really all you need because you literally tap your brush in the top and it gives this beautiful wash of color and it stays all day. Plus you can put on your lips as a beautiful stain. Sadly, it doesn’t smell like coconut though.

    • Isabella Muse

I love those too Liz they are fab 😀 agreed they taste kinda bitter 🙁
