Maybelline Japan Care & Correct CC Cream

Ok so maybe don’t add add Maybelline Japan Care & Correct CC Cream to your wish list! I’ve never technically had a good run with Maybelline’s Japanese BB Cream but…..I kinda want to try the Care & Correct CC Creams none the less.

Am I glutton for beauty punishment?

Likely!

Maybelline Japan Care & Correct CC Cream come in a Nude and a Pink Glow formula. Apparently the Pink Glow formula brightens skin and has a pinkish radiant glow where as the Nude Glow formula has tiny pigmented beads that burst on contact with skin and adapt to your natural skin tone to ease dullness, even out skin tone, and create natural coverage.

Both formulas contain water lily extract to sooth and hydrate skin.

Honestly, the Pink Glow formula kinda sounds like Maybelline Baby Skin Pink Transformer hmmmmm! We never did get the pink version of Baby Skin here in the US maybe Summer we’ll finally see it!?

What do you think?

Add these two to the wish list or maybe skip?

The Maybelline Japan Care & Correct CC Creams are available from AlphabeautyUK an ebay.com seller I trust and have used several hundred times in the past!

P.S. Apparently Penny Dreadful sunk in ratings for it’s Season 2 premiere episode but I was up watching it late last night and I enjoyed it. And no, that’s likely not really

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I’ll be in Japan in september, though I’ll probably pick up some of your Japanese makeup favorites ;D If they have tests of this I’ll see what it’s like!

we have those in china as well. i have swatched them and feel like the “nude” one looked a bit too peachy. they both did not seem to actually adapt to my skintone, though i feel like the pink one has some sort of brightening effect. maybe the japanese version is slightly different…

I have the nude one…it doesnt have much coverage, but it gives a beautiful glow under the foundation. I have oily t-zone and I noticed that I have to use the blotting sheet for often when I use it.
