Colourpop Sundays in Silverlake Lippie Stix Set

Want more Colourpop Lippie Stix? You got it! The new Colourpop Sundays in Silverlake Lippie Stix Set ($30) comes your way with not one, not two, not three, not even four but SIX full size Colourpop Lippie Stix Lipsticks!

The Colourpop Sundays in Silverlake Lippie Stix Set is a limited edition set that was released with the Colourpop Summer 2015 Collection!

Let’s take a peek!

Colourpop Sundays in Silverlake Lippie Stix

The Colourpop Sundays in Silverlake Lippie Stix Set comes housed in a gorgeous palm tree decorated sliding drawer gift box. The packaging is just incredible on this set! Ok, so yeah, you aren’t really getting a discount here for buying a complete set as Lippie Stix are $5 bucks each and this does contain six of ’em for a total of $30….so yeah, no discount! But you do get the killer box to store them in which for me, being a packaging h0r, is cool! But I digress and wouldn’t mind in the least if Colourpop did another set that was say $25…..! But again I’m not complaining at five bucks a pop, Lippie Stix Lipsticks are a beauty budget girl’s or guy’s best friend.

Colourpop Sundays in Silverlake

Ummm this little set isn’t really filled with Summer-y shades in my humblest! It has has some flashy colors and some nude, natural ones but none really give off a Summer-y vibe to me. I wish the set was created with maybe a certain theme in mind say peaches, corals, and oranges for Summer? But on other levels, it’s a sensible box of different colors so if you like variety this brings it! You get not only a variety of shades but also a variety of finishes and formulas here which include Lippie Stix in matte, hyperglossy, and cream finishes and formulas.

Each slimline lipstick has a twist up design so no need for a sharpener! The slanted tips are a plus as they never get dull and fit the contour of my lips perfecting during application. Some folks say there’s a faint vanilla fragrance and flavor here but sometimes I don’t get it and other times it’s kinda sorta there to my taste buds and nose! I’m iffy on the cream formula as I’ve said in some of my past reviews. It tends to settle into my natural lip lines and feels dry and a bit draggy during application. The mattes however, apply smoothly and evenly! And the hyper glossy finish and formula, totally a fav! This feels balmy, applies easily, and isn’t quite “hyper” glossy but does have a nice bit of shine. No question ALL the shades are creamy and all the shades are super pigmented on a single application!

There are shades I can’t really wear in here as they are a bit zombie-ish on me. Parker being one and Ace being another but you can definately doctor these shades up and kinda mix and match them. Lippie Stix seem to have a knack for blending well together and creating another totally different shade that looks amazing! So I’m not too worried about using these! You can even use them as a lip primer with say a red lipstick on top as they’ll mute your natural lip color and intensify the shade of your lipstick!

All in all the Colourpop Sundays in Silverlake Lippie Stix Set is an excellent little set and a great way to try out a variety of finishes and colors from the Colourpop Lippie Stix Collection! Grab it now before it disappears!

Oh that packaging is beautiful! I got a Colour Pop order in a couple of weeks ago and I’m in love. But being in Canada, with the exchange rate, shipping and duty….it was almost double the cost. So I don’t think I’ll be ordering every week just yet 😉

I got the In Bloom one (I think it’s called that?!) and the gift box is almost as lovely as products in it too! They sure know how to gt my attention!

Yup, announced it on Twitter, announced it on Facebook, and if you look at the giveaway post it says the person’s name who won within the post and right on the rafflecopter widget. Hope this helps Davey! I couldn’t agree more all their kits are too tempting!
