Maybelline Queen of New York 100 Years Makeup Collection

Maybelline Queen of New York 100 Years Makeup Collection

The Maybelline Queen of New York 100 Years Makeup Collection is a new selection of limited edition products that Maybelline has launched to celebrate their anniversary. If you recall there’s also a Maybelline 100 Years Baby Lips Collection as well and I suspect we’ll see more of these displays this Summer with other products!

The displays contain both limited and permanent products! Repromoted in the Maybelline Queen of New York 100 Years Makeup Collection are both the Fresh BB Cream and Pure BB Cream formulas with limited edition packaging that features the New York skyline.

Also a new, limited edition Face Studio Master Glaze Blush Stick in Pursuit of Pink makes an appearance and four, limited edition shades of Color Molten Eyeshadow Duos in Stroke of Silver, Rose Rush, Sweeping Blue, and Bronzed Out. There are also two, limited edition Maybelline Color Show Nail Polishes in Gold Stunner and Beyond Burgundy.

The display also features repromoted favorites like Master Kajal and Great Lash with limited edition packaging!

I located the display both at Ulta and Harmons so it isn’t exclusive to any one store and should be available shortly at other mass retailers.

I did pick up the blush and I’ll review it shortly. I’m not a huge Glaze Blush fan but the color was so pretty I couldn’t resist.

Anyone see the display in their area?

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. That display in the photo is actually missing the top most level – the lipsticks (of which there are 5, 2 of each) and the blush stick are supposed to be on top. In your photo, it appears that the blushes are just set in the back with the shadows.

The lipsticks are Strike a Rose (did a search for this and it appears Maybelline uses this name a lot), Purposeful Mauve, Magenta-bulous, Coral Cocktail, and Berry Chic. I got all but the mauve (it didn’t appear to be very mauve in the tube).

What a great find for you Isabella. Hopefully we will get this in Aussie land (probably next year!)

I’m both looking forward to and dreading Canada getting this. If they’re good, I’ll be purchasing most of them. 😀
