i saw these in ulta and they looked so intriguing!! but..my 2 qualms would be there are no matte shadows and i found that the pigmentation and color payoff of nyx shadows is hit or miss. would you be reviewing these muse??

    • Isabella Muse

Hi Devon! yeah, sometimes NYX can for sure be hit or miss! I haven’t seen them in stores yet, hoping to swatch before I buy online so if I find in store will def purchase and review 😀

I purchased the Wanderlust palette at Ulta. The pigmentation and colors are great! Only downfall…very powdery and brushes kick up a lot of excess product. I haven’t tried using my fingers for application, but that might help.

damn! I feared that! Lately NYX has been very powdery!

that’s the one i was really eyeing (the bon voyage would be for fall ;])–thanks BD! do they last a while on the face??

      • BeautyDiva

Devon…they lasted a good 8 hours on me with a primer. Powdery was the only negative but still had good color payoff.

I swatched these palettes in the store and I was not impressed. The shadow’s pigment was just ok and the texture was chalky.
