Peripera Peri Lip Tint Water Ink6

Peripera Peri Lip Tint Water Ink is a new long wearing lip stain available in five shades that launched recently in Korea! I’m a lip stain fan girl (and a cheek stain one too) so I had to grab up one of these and try it out for size.

Especially since they are too cute! Dontcha love the little alchemy dropper style bottle?

Peripera Peri Lip Tint Water Ink

Peripera Peri Lip Tint Water Ink is a long wearing lip ink that provides super vivid color to lips. I got purchased an orange shade called Oh My and it is very intense!

The lip ink or lip stain comes housed in a little dropper style bottle but it does include a sponge applicator so don’t let the shape fool as there isn’t a messy dropper hidden under the lid here. The ink is highly customizable as you can wear it as a sheer layer of color or as a more intense, vibrant lip color. To wear sheer simply apply a thin layer and blot gently at your lips to remove excess. If you want a little more intensity you can apply a single application (or layer more if you like) and allow the color to set for several seconds. Either way you apply you do have to allow color to set! Don’t open your mouth during this time or lick your lips. As the color sets it becomes a little sticky and finally sets to a semi-matte finish. So long as you allow enough set time you’ll get several hours of wear from the color. I can get about four to five hours if I wear it intensely and as it wears down it still leaves behind a bright stain that wears for a few more hours after.

I love the wear but I do feel this formula is a bit on the drier side and my lips felt a little cracked and looked dry after the first hour of application and continued to feel dry well into the wear! The formula is thin, watery, and feels quite hydrating and refreshing on the first application but after the formula sets it isn’t as pleasant and feels very dry.

Peripera Peri Lip Tint Water Ink is a fab little long wearing lip tint but the dryness does prevent me from purchasing more shades unfortunately.

Peripera Peri Lip Tint Water Ink and many of Peripera makeup items are available from Ebay.com seller F2Plus1.

I definitely need to buy this! I actually don’t mind drying lip tints if that means they’ll stain well. I usually just put the actual tint on in the morning, then I usually touch up with a similar colored lip balm (usually baby lips or benebalm etc.) throughout the day! I find it more comfortable to do than reapplying lipstick throughout the day. So this sounds perfect for me! Thanks Muse! 🙂

Hi Isabella! I really liked your review! It was just what I was searching for since I’ve been wanting to get my hands on an orange lip tint from Korea (since i havent really been able to find lip products that are orange enough for my taste from any of the European or American brands i usually buy from) and have been thinking about getting periperas orange lip ink:)

Here’s what I got a bit confused about though: since I want a lip tint that’s as orange as possible I wanted the “#4 Oh My”, and it says here in your review that that’s what you bought, but it looks really red on your lips and on the applicator, not really orange? It confused me since all the promotional pictures of the product shows off a really really orange tint, so I’ve been a bit reluctant to buy it.

Today when I read your review again though, I noticed that even though you say you got the “#4 Oh My” orange shade, on the first picture in this review, the one where you show the packaging, it actually says “No Way” on the top of it, as in the red shade “#3 No Way”. So I’m thinking, did you accidentally write “#4 Oh My” when you meant “#3 No Way” when writing this blog post, or did you really intend to purchase the orange “#4 Oh My” but got the wrong product sent to you?

Sorry for the very long comment! X) I’m quite bad at limiting my words, sorry! But i hope you understand what I’m trying to say:)
ps: you look really really pretty and that colour fits you really well, even if it might not have been the one you intended on purchasing.^^

    xoxo jojo
