The Power of Charcoal Compels You

Boscia Charcoal Deep-Pore Cleansing Stick Treatment

The new Boscia Charcoal Deep-Pore Cleansing Stick Treatment ($28) recently caught my attention because, dude, it’s a stick! You can always get my attention when you create something unusual and this is interesting. I mean a cleansing stick? Cool!

Charcoal is a hit at the moment and it is busy popping up in a lot of different skincare products. Within Asia, charcoal has been a trending for a while but just the past year and a half we’ve been seeing a lot of it hear in the US.

So what’s this Charcoal Deep-Pore Cleansing Stick Treatment all about?

Boscia Charcoal Deep-Pore Cleansing Stick Treatment is a cleansing stick that provides deep pore cleansing. The reason its in a stick form is it allows you to target areas on your face that are extra clogged! It’s formulated to draw out dirt, oil, and icky impurities.

It’s infused with activated charcoal, glycolic acid, and artichoke leaf extract allowing the cleansing stick to absorb toxins and impurities and detoxifying pores for a smoother, brighter complexion.

The Boscia Charcoal Deep-Pore Cleansing Stick Treatment is available now at Sephora.com.

As with all skin care products, it just depends on what works with your skin. But, let me tell you – for me, my skin LOVES charcoal. They are best-est friends for-ever! I started using charcoal and for the first time in my life my face became clear for months. With my stupid hives, I dialed back my skincare for a week to a gentle cleanser because I was afraid of using anything to harsh on my face and I’m still paying the price. I went back to life as normal and I’m starting to see everything clear up again.
This stick form excites me – A LOT! I’m excited to see if you like it Muse!

Charcoal is def a good one! Have you tried the dark angels cleanser from Lush Jackie!? it’s amazings!

      • JackieD

Yes! Dark Angels was my first charcoal love! It’s a little messy, but AMAZING! I don’t have any in town that’s aren’t a huge hassle to get to (they’re both in high-touristy areas) and I like to go in and ensure I’m getting it as fresh as possible. There’s nothing worse than throwing some away because I couldn’t use it fast enough. I’ve gotten some before and have been like, “Whoa, I’ve got 2 weeks to use all this!?” So Dark Angels is like my treat to myself when I do go and get it.

I agree totally! 🙂 and really exfoliates nicely! 😀 how about coal face that’s awesome too hehe!

          • JackieD

No I actually haven’t! I should add that to my list! Currently I’m using the Biore charcoal bar, but maybe I’ll like the coal face even better – I LOVE Lush!

coal face is a little gritter! No mint either which is a plus 😀

          • JackieD

Yes, definitely getting coal face now! I’m not a mint girl at all. Thanks for the suggestion Muse!

How do you use this? Because I would feel skeezy putting the same stick on dirty skin repeatedly. At least with, say, a highlighter stick like Watt’s Up I am applying it to clean skin.

too true! Likely wet it and spot treatment but yes, that probably kinda feels yucky given time! You can wipe it off after each use if that helps!
