Wet n Wild See If I Carrot Megaslicks Balm Stain Review & Swatches
Wet n Wild See If I Carrot Megaslicks Balm Stain Moisturizing Lip Colour is one of several new Balm Stain flavors that launched with the Wet n Wild California Dreaming Summer 2015 Collection.
Yeah, so, I liked the name! I’m such a goof but it totally made me snort out loud.
Actually Wet n Wild See If I Carrot Megaslicks Balm Stain is part of the permanent range of shades so it’s just being repromoted in the California Dreaming Collection but still it’s a shade I haven’t tried before so I was happy they brought it my attention in this display! I love orange lipsticks, glosses, etc in the Summer and See If I Carrot is a delightful shade of orange for Summer looks!
Wet n Wild See If I Carrot Megaslicks Balm Stain is a chubby moisturizing lip color that launched in six shades for Spring 2014. These are your typical twist up chubby pencil so no sharpener is needed or required and each pencil weights in at 0.10 oz in size for $2.99 each.
The formula doesn’t quite compare to Tarte Lipsurgence, Clinque Chubby Stick Balms, or Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balms but does best compare to Hard Candy All Glossed Up Hydrating Lip Stain and Jordana Twist & Shine Moisturizing Balm Stains as all three formulas have a lighter, thinner consistency.

I like the texture on these a lot as they aren’t balmy nor are they heavy. They have a nice slightly slipper glide across lips without any shimmer sparkle and a soft sheen finish with sheer to fairly medium pigmentation when built. The color produces more impact and opacity when you go over it a few times and you can get excellent color pay off. I don’t detect any fragrance and flavor so if you’re sensitive that should be a relief. The wear is a little shorter for me at three hours and although these are supposed to leave a stain behind, and I have a few that do, I didn’t feel like See If I Carrot left anything staining behind after it wore away. I find this formula comfortable to wear and it offers light moisture but not a ton of hydration.
See If I Carrot is one of those rare oranges that works fabulously on my skin tone. It’s bright but not crazy vibrant and has a slight peach undertone that gives it an almost corally orange look! I love orange but sometimes I can’t always wear orange and this is a completely wearable shade of orange! Do like!
You might own it already but if not Wet n Wild See If I Carrot Megaslicks Balm Stain is a nice budget friendly, lightweight pencil to give lips a flush of Summer orange that looks and wears beautifully!
