Estee Lauder New Dimension Shape + Sculpt Eye Kit

The new Estee Lauder New Dimension Shape + Sculpt Eye Kit ($40) has me intrigued. Contouring hit Spring 2015 like a mack truck and it’s a trend that doesn’t yet have an end point showing the signs of being a big hit well into Fall 2015. The Estee Lauder New Dimension Shape + Sculpt Eye Kit takes contouring to your eyes with a trio of shades that define, brighten, and sculpt eyes.

Much like the new Kat Von D Shade and Light Contour Palette, The New Dimension Shape + Sculpt Eye Kit combines shades of color to add depth, dimension, and definition to eyes although it does it with merely three shades where as Kat Von D’s palette does with several. Can I just say I love the simplicity here? It’s all about ease of use, kids!

I don’t mind the lack of shades to be honest as this palette could become my best friend if it works the way I expect it will!

It has a creamy smoothing base to prime lids, a cream highlighter that brightens eyes, and a contour shade that has a hint of multidimensional shimmer to contour.

The concept?

Simple, beautiful, brighter eyes!

To start your look use the smoothing base to prep your eyes now sweep the highlighter shade along your brown bone and inner corner and complete the look by applying the contouring shade towards the outer top lash line and sweep into your crease.

It’s expensive but if it creates the natural, brighter eye look I’m looking for I’ll be happy girl!

I will be indulging!

The Estee Lauder New Dimension Shape + Sculpt Eye Kit is available now at Nordstrom.com or your fav Estee Lauder counter!

hmm…pretty, but only 3 colors & I don’t see anything that unusual for $40. That peachy beige shade is awesome, but there are plenty of dupes out there, at least for me 🙂

Yeah, I need this. I’ve literally reduced my summer makeup regimen to 4 items and this could replace my cream eyeshadow. I likey.

This is certainly interesting, if nothing else. Way too pricey for me, but I will be interested in seeing a review and swatches.

I think I need this too. And, if there’s an EL Gift Event, all the better!

This looks right up my alley! Looking forward to reviews and swatches.

$40 for 3 shadows? I just use my face contour powders on my eyes when I want to add depth to the crease and lightness to the lids.

This palette is not made up of three shadows. The first shade is a neutral base primer for the lids, the second is a creme highlighter and the darkest shade is the contour powder for the crease. Not worth the $40,when you can easily by the Anastasia palette with more contour shades for the face and lids if needed.
