E.L.F. An Enchanted Tale Eyeshadow and Eyeliner Review & Swatches
E.L.F. An Enchanted Tale Eyeshadow and Eyeliner is a limited edition cream eyeshadow pot that launched with the E.L.F. Beauty and the Beast Makeup Collection. You might recall that E.L.F. launched a similar cream eyeshadow pot with the E.L.F. Elsa Frozen Collection which I didn’t particularly like! But the E.L.F. An Enchanted Tale Eyesahdow and Eyeliner changed my mind a little bit.
Take a peek!
E.L.F. obviously heard my rants because the Beauty the Beast and the Frozen Collection have a ton of new single products releases! Typically E.L.F. has been launching Disney inspired Look Book Palettes and has been doing so for a few years now but more recently, they have venture into release other single piece makeup products which I’m loving. I also adore the attention to detail on the packaging. For example, the E.L.F. An Enchanted Tale Eyeshadow and Eyeliner has delightful art work featuring Belle! It’s a really quite cute!
This color is called Beast and is a taupe-y brown shade. The color seems original as the E.L.F. Essential Smudge Pot Cream Eyeshadow doesn’t show any shades that look like it! E.L.F. does like to repromote shades in these Disney Collections but I’m not seeing any shades that are similar to Beast on their site!

This formula doubles as both a cream eyeshadow and eyeliner so it is multitasking although I have to say it works best as an eyeshadow as it’s a little too emollient used as an eyeliner and tends to slip and slide around my lash line. I was disappointed with the Frozen Smudge Pot but I actually liked the Beauty and the Beast one since the color wasn’t as sheer and provided very nice color to my lids. It wore quite nicely but does crease a little bit on my drier eyes at around hour four so eyeshadow primer is essential to keep it wearing nice and strong.
I do worry about the plastic pot this comes in as I’m unsure how long it’ll be before this dries out (I suspect not long) but it only set me back $4.99 so I guess I can’t complain too much!
So yeah, the Frozen Eyeshadow/Liner Pot disappointed a lot of us but don’t let it shy you away from indulging in the E.L.F. An Enchanted Tale Eyeshadow and Eyeliner because this formula was MUCH better!
The E.L.F. An Enchanted Tale Eyeshadow and Eyeliner and the entire E.L.F. Beauty and the Beast Collection is available now at drugstores.
