Maybelline Magenta-Bulous Color Sensational Lipcolor is yet another of the limited edition lipstick shades that launched with the Maybelline 100 Years Queen of New York Makeup Collection. This one might just be a keeper! It’s quite a unique and vibrant shade of magenta with a blue iridescent undertone!

Maybelline Magenta-Bulous Color Sensational Lipstick is quite a unique shade of purple-y fuchsia with a bright, gorgeous color payoff that has a slight blue undertone. Although it looks like blue shimmer, it is not! The color has a gorgeous blue iridescence to it which makes it quite different and unique. I just love this color! I’m not typically one that enjoys shades like this but honestly, it’s just too gorgeous to pass up on! If you have a deeper skin tone this will POP on your lips!

I thought the texture reminded me a MAC Lustre Lipstick as it has a very slight shine with a thin balmy texture. It applies quite smoothly and evenly on my lips and felt lightly hydrating through the four hour wear and left a stain behind well after fading. I’m finding the Maybelline 100 Years Color Sensational Lipsticks are a hit and miss bag but Magenta-Bulous is definitely one of the hits! It does unfortunately have a play-doh perfume-y taste and fragrance but I find it a little more subtle compared to other Color Sensational Lipsticks I own but this could be a make or break for those sensitive!

    This is one of the colors I was able to find and of all places, Walmart. I love the color and pigmentation of this shade, love it. I am so happy that I was able to find one of these LE 100th celebration lipsticks. I still want to find the Mauve one, heard that is a great nude color for all skin colors. This one does look great on you!

    I found the other 3, and I wasn’t even looking for them. LOL was shopping at Walmart and said let me see what they have going on over here in the makeup isle. LOLOL and lo and behold there was the display for the lipsticks. OMG. I almost fainted, however, I didn’t get the coral color because it was the same color they already have out but in the LE packaging. Now, if I can find the Disney belle collection I will be super happy!
