About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse.     Last month I was obsessed with this powder thinking I HAD to have it and I searched the whole internet for actual swatches to justify the buy. And I found none xD Apparently Id be the only Sailor Moon crazed fan who would really want to use the powder for what it is and not just as a piece to collect. ^^;

    I missed the whole Sailor Moon thing, but the compact is freaking adorable!

    aw man, why must you show us these things of such cuteness?!!

    Oh man, you don’t even know how bad I want that. I keep managing to restrain myself, even though the price has now dropped since it was first released. I think it was originally around 80 US dollars. It’s the same with the replica crescent moon wand. Every now and then I’ll open up a tab with the amazon page for the wand and almost…click…the “add to cart” button…but I stop myself at the last second.

    One of these days I’ll weaken and order it, or the compact. Come to think of it, I did just get paid this week. Hmm…

    I’ve got the chance to try it at Japan Expo Paris last year, I was determinate to buy it, and when I touch it, smell the powder, and try it… I was like ‘It look like a kind toy, the plastic look cheap, the powder is just glittery and it smell like… a kids makeup toy…”
    So, definitively not.

    Awesome. I always loved how the sailor senshi transformational items were clearly supposed to look like cosmetics with adorable packaging! Probably had a thing to do with my past makeup hoarding.
