Sephora Favorites Sun Safety Kit

Ok, bad news, the Sephora Favorites Sun Safety Kit ($32) is sold out online. Sad sigh! But good news the Sun Safety Kit is still available in stores so call or head to your favorite Sephora and see if you can get your hands on this exclusive, new limited edition set because it is a GREAT little deal!

I hate trying new SPF formulas because many times I end up dislike them! I’m more of a Japanese and Asian SPF kinda girl myself as I feel like the formulas are far superior to ones we have here in the US as they tend to absorb a lot easier. However, being able to purchase my favorite SPF locally is always a plus so I tend to test a variety of formulas every Summer in the hopes I’ll find one I truly love.

That’s where the Sephora Favorites Sun Safety Kit comes into play! This set includes 16 of the hottest, news SPFs available in sample sizes so you can try them out for size before comitting to the full size. But wait there’s more…I so love playing infomercial for you! But seriously there is more! This set isn’t only about SPFs! You get CC Creams, BB Creams, facial primer and even moisturizers, and even lip balms with SPF to try out! Nifty right?

The set comes housed in a larger clear train case with hot pink accents which you take to the beach with you well after the contents have been removed.

Inside you’ll find the following products:

  • 0.2 oz AmorePacific Natural Protector SPF 30
  • 0.3 oz Clarins UV Plus Anti-Pollution Broad Spectrum SPF 50
  • 0.5 oz Clinique Moisture Surge CC Cream Broad Spectrum SPF 30 in Light Medium

Each kit is $32 and the best part about this set is not the value, not the variety of products, but the fact that Sephora will donate $20 from each kit to Benefit the Skin Cancer Foundation. How awesome is that?

I know it’s not available online but a quick look within Manhattan revealed that there the Sephora Favorites Sun Safety Kit is available in quite a few stores if you want to pick one up today! Or visit Sephora.com and put in your zipcode to see where you can pick your Sun Safety Kit as this one comes with a BIG Muse Approval!

You need it!

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I bought this set online a few weeks ago and have really been enjoying it! So far I really like the Korres lotion and the Clinique CC Cream. But the one product I don’t understand is the St. Tropez lotion – it doesn’t even have SPF in it! Not sure why they included that, but otherwise it’s a great set!

I think it was their version of “safe sun tanning” 🙂

I was stuck between ordering this and the Memebox SPF box. I ended up getting the Memebox one as I had never tried Asain SPF before but you’ve always raved about it. I’m very excited to try them. They range between 30-50 and are listed as gels. Never tried a gel SPF before. Gotta keep my super pale face protected!

let me know how the memebox is Brooke I’m curious what they put in it!

They may have them at penny’s too ( sephora in penny’s ). I bought one and I haven’t taken it out from the bag yet. Can’t wait to try!

What’s a good Korean kind to try?

I have been using shiseido for a bit and liked it a lot! But just bout a face one from Coola and dare I say I think I like it better? I almost feel guilty saying it, tee hee. Although, i did feel the slightest of slight tinge with it so not sure if it reacted with my moisturizer or not and will try it on its own next.

Anyone have a fave from the kit?

  • Iris

I haven’t been into my local Sephora in a while. I’ll have to see if they have this kit in Canada. I’m always on the lookout for more high SPF sunscreens.

    1) the mobile version of your site doesn’t have a place to click to reply directly to a message. I’m assuming that this will show up at the bottom of the comments instead of a reply to your reply.

    2) the contents of the Memebox are: Secret Key Lemon D-Toc Peeling Gel, Banila Co Golden Aloe Soothing Gel Foam Cleanser, Secret Key Multi Cell Night Repair Ampoule, The Orchid Skin Orchid Flower Aqua UV Sun Gel SPF 50 and Leaders Insolution UV Moist Sun Gel SPF 30 with a sample of their CC Cream.

I picked up the JC Penny Sephora kit; girl was really nice and was holding the last one for me but it has a lot less samples then the other one. Still very happy with set though 🙂
