Shop Kiko Cosmetics in New York

kiko store new york

Korean beauty is huge at the moment here in the US and considering this is such a major trend it’s no great surprise that European beauty may just me close behind. For example Kiko Cosmetics is now has a store right here in the New York!

Earlier last year I told you a Skin Food store would be opening in the Palisades Mall in New York (it is, now in fact, OPEN!) and much to my surprise the Palisades Mall also has a little spot for Italian brand Kiko Cosmetics.

You might be familiar with this Italian brand because it does make its way across the blogsphere quite often. Although it is a tricky little devil to get your hands on. I’ve only had the pleasure of trying a few Kiko products since it isn’t so readily available here in the US.

Much to my delight and shock I noticed that there is now a Kiko Cosmetics store located right in the Palisades Mall! They even had the limited edition Summer Collection available for purchase.

The store is super well stocked with the entire permanent range with prices ranging from $3 to $24. Most of the makeup is highly affordable at around $12 for color cosmetics such as blush and around $20-$22 for foundation with skincare as well ranging it from $10-$30. The staff is friendly, helpful, and not aggressive in the least (they aren’t following you around the store demanding you try stuff on but are there to help if you need anything).

I’m a happy camper I can get Kiko so easily now! I’ve spent too many days drooling after reading International beauty blogs. I hope we’ll see more Euro brands pop up here in the US (Pupa, please come back!).

Happy shopping Kiko lovers!

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I got to shop in a Kiko store on Sardinia this past winter. It was all I could do to not buy the whole store! They do have a US website now, too.

    • Isabella Muse

Awesome Erin glad to hear it! I agree, it’s tempting to buy one of everything. Yeah, the US portal has been live a while but it’s not an online store so kinda useless.

  • Jenna

I just saw that a Kiko is opening near me in the Danbury Mall in CT…so excited!!

    • Jessica

I don’t know if you’re near New Haven, but I’m pretty sure there’s one downtown (a few doors down from the Apple store)

  • brenda

We have one in Rotterdam as well, since last week. Try the longlasting eyeliner sticks, they’re very good! The eyeshadows are also very well pigmented, and the lipsticks, love! And very well priced. The highlighter sticks are also pretty!

    • Isabella Muse

yay awesome! I have a few of the longlasting shadow sticks, those are actually one of the first Kiko products I tried 🙂 So glad you have a local store now Brenda!

  • Ashley

Yup, there’s a Kiko that’s been here in Brooklyn for quite awhile, and I believe there’s one in Queens as well.

Kiko is a dangerous store for the wallet.

  • Michou

So, when I was in Europe two Christmases ago, I made sure to hit up Kiko after I fell in love with them online. I bought TONS and only spent about 50 Euro. The MOMENT I came home… I checked their website to see if they do international shipping…. only to realize they were opening stores in NJ. ONE OF THEM IS 15 MINS FROM MY HOUSE!!!!

I won’t lie, I’m there more often than I should admit. 😛 At least I can buy TONS and not have it hurt my wallet NEARLY as much as Sephora or Nordstrom does.

    • Isabella Muse

LOL awesome 😀 Very nice! I wish it was 15 minutes away, bit of a longer ride for me but still worth the trip!

      • Michou

I’m just hoping it gets/stays popular so we don’t lose them like we lost Bourjois. I didn’t know that Pupa used to be in the states!?!?! I wish we could get Catrice here too, now that I think about it.

Subscribing to all the international cosmetic blogs that I do is bad for my wallet, especially when I can’t get the brands that look so lovely. 😛

        • Isabella Muse

Oh yes! Sephora had it for a while but they never had individual products, just the cutesy palettes! I agree, I sure hope they do well because I TRULY miss Bourjois although I hear Bourjois might be coming back! But I don’t think they are owned by Chanel anymore which worries me. Oooo yes! Catrice would be wonderful! I also wish we’d see more of the LE essence collections! 🙁 LOL agreed, because I start hunting them down and end up paying MUCH MORE for them! EEP!

          • Michou

OMG I am so scared too about the conversion of Bourjois from Chanel to Coty. If the quality (and price) remains the same, then I’ll be happy. I’d just hate to see what I’ve seen happen with other good brands when they get bought out. I guess all we can do is wait and see. If you need a Bourjois fix, btw, feelunique.com has free shipping and a great selection. I’m likely to pick up some of the summer glosses today. 😀

          • Isabella Muse

I shop feelunique all the time for bourjois 😀 I’m a little worried about it too, read something about it several weeks ago but it slipped my memory but glad you’re bring it back to me again, the CK makeup line is decent enough so if they keep on that track I’d be happy ;-D

Sono contentissima (translation: I’m thrilled!)! I didn’t see stores the last time I was in Italy several years ago, but I’ve known about them for a while. At least Sephora used to carry Pupa. I would just love to have Deborah here too so I could load up on my favorite lipstick.

    • Isabella Muse

Sono contento tu sia molto felice! 😀 That was probably completely wrong, my Italian sucks! LOL! There are actually all over Europe, not just Italy 🙂 not sure where you live but if you’re in the UK there are stores around London! I knew about them for a few years as well but so happy they are local now 😀 I remember when Pupa was at sephora such a sad shame it is gone! Oh gosh, I’d be in heaven if Deborah were available in the US! I really like the comfort lift foundation!

  • Kate

    Hey Muse
I was there yesterday, just to walk around in the lousy weather, have you bought any of their stuff? They had some lip stuff that looks like the Chanel/ MFE longlast lip product that tempted me. There I is also a store in Garden State Plaza if you ever get over there

Also a Zara is opening there too. Exciting for me because I wanted one in Bergen county where I live.

    • Isabella Muse

Where is Zara opening? I was there Saturday and had heard Zara was opening but I didn’t see any “coming soon” locations!? I have tried a few items but not a ton, the shadow sticks in particular are my favs! I purchased two lipglosses that I’ll review shortly! 🙂 I haven’t tried any of their lip products so this is a treat for me!

      • Kate

Zara is opening on the 1st floor near Sephora/ON area where the Apple Store used to be, looks like they took 2 stores over. Looking forward to this, they need a store in Bergen,

        Opening Fall?

will keep u updated, I don’t go there much just on sundays as there is no sunday shopping here

        • Isabella Muse

AH!!!!!!!!!!! I’m surprised I didn’t notice that thanks Kate!

  • Ryou

The fact that KIKO has a store in NY makes me sad sometimes, because unless you happen to be close by, there’s basically no way to get any of their products if you’re not in Europe. >:

  • Elsa

They also have a store in Newport mall in Jersey City. I checked them out last week and they have lots of pretty things!

  • Cheryl

Muse, I live pretty close to the Palisades mall and was pleasantly surprised when I saw the store recently. I knew there was one in the Garden State Plaza. The Garden State Plaza has a lot of new makeup places coming. I noticed Flormar and Makeup Forever.

    • Isabella Muse

Hey Cheryl! I was too! It was so unexpected 🙂 I rarely get to the GSP but it might be time to go if there are new beauty places upcoming 🙂

      • Kate

        GSP
also has the other brand the Polish one? you guys know the brand Inglot!!

The MFE store is about 1 year old I think, has everything and makeup stations, I happened to be there the week they opened so they were super friendly.

Having just returned from a trip to Europe (24 hrs ago), I’m down with more global offerings in skincare and cosmetics. My big purchase (as I think many American’s have selected before me) is the Lauduree blush in the shape of rose petals. I went to the Sephora on the Champs Elysee- it was a mad house! but what I miss most is the Pharmas! Temptation on every block! How I would love to see that concept take off here state-side! Hugs Muse <3

    • Isabella Muse

love the lauduree blush (but I haven’t technically used either shade I own haha). The Sephora at Champs-Élysées is scary busy but the building is so lovely 🙂 and it’s such a great experience! Agreed, I would too! I guess we all want what we can’t have! 🙂 xoxoxox Anna!

  • Kat

It’s a shame they treat their workers so poorly. The barley train them correctly and in return your job is threatened they run a very shady buisness

    • Isabella Muse

I have no idea about their work ethics or employees Kat so I can’t really comment. I’ve never been employed by the company nor do I know anyone employed by them. my experience with the store was great, the sales reps were quite nice!

    • Carolina

I know personally 2 girls that work at Kiko here in Portugal and I’ve heard good things about how they are treated. They don’t have to be makeup artists but they need to have an avid interest in makeup and be able to do complicated/colorful looks well. They also told me they are one of the best paying stores, above minimum wage, and that’s only for a part time job (which is saying a lot in this country!). I have noticed however that the employees are becoming more pushy – new directions i’m sure, not well received where i’m concerned.
