Estee Lauder Pure Color Blush Stick

Get blushing with the new Estee Lauder Pure Color Blush Stick ($32) which are a new limited edition blush stick available in four shades for Summer 2015. I got my hands on one of the shades recently in Peach Rush and it just might turn into my fav must have cream blush for Summer!

Take a look!

I’m not really a cream blush lover as they tend to fade very quickly on my skin. However, Summer comes and I’m all, “Let’s haul out the cream blush!” They are just such a great, simple way to get insta-color on your cheeks plus they always look so fresh and natural!

Estee Lauder Pure Color Blush Stick comes housed in a slick elegant tube and weights in at .29 oz in size. They travel smart and friendly if you wanna touch up and dab on the go! The twist up design allows you to easily dab color on cheek bones, blend out, and ta-da you’re blushing!

The texture is fairly thick for a cream blush but has a lightweight slightly tacky feel on skin. Color adheres beautifully on cheeks providing a smooth, seamless flush to my face without accentuating drier areas. I tried out the shade Peach Rush and it gives my cheeks a very fresh flush of color with a hint of a dewy sheen that’s natural and very, very pretty. The color is a snap to blend out and doesn’t tug or feel dry in the least. I find the texture starts out with a richer, creamer base but thins as you blend to leave behind weightless color with a slightly dewy to the touch finish. Surprisingly enough color does lose some of the dewy sheen throughout the wear but continues to provide solid color longer than cream blushes have been know to wear on my drier skin! I can get about three hours in of the sheen and about seven hours of total color and wear! I went away for the weekend and the weather was humid, sticky, and HOT and much of my time away was spent outside and color wore strongly in the warmth without fading quickly.

I loved the wear and formula so much that I ended up purchasing some more shades as hey, these are limited edition!

Estee Lauder Pure Color Blush Stick gets my Muse Approval for purchase. Love the application, love the gorgeous color and finish, and adore how natural and pretty they look on my complexion.

Oh wow, this is worth checking out. I need a long-lasting blush. And what is the lip color you are wearing ?

  • Lori

LOVE this blush on you, Muse! $32 is a steep price for me for one blush, but I may have to splurge on this one! Also, you must tell us what lipstick you’re wearing – it looks amazing on you, too!

Thanks so much for this review. Such a shame these are limited edition. You just so happened to review the color I was most interested in purchasing. I will have to get it now. Fingers crossed that EL might change their minds and make these permanent.

I think that they’ll likely release an entire range of them for Fall Cindy! This color might be LE but I imagine they will keep the mattes on board!

this color looks like their bronze goddess illuminizing stick from this year. I loved it so much I bought a couple extra as backups. I want these too, they are beautiful and I love estee lauder.

I JUST bought this when I went to Estee Lauder’s counter to get a shade match for the double wear foundation (the sales lady tried it on me on the spot and I Loved it!) And ended up with this blush stick after she tried it on me. I took her word for it that this cream blush last for a whole dayand decided to get it after seeing the gorgeous result it left on my cheeks when she tried it on for me. I hope its as long lasting as u say because I have dry skin as well and encounter the same problem with cream blushers as u do! They never seem to last as soon as I step out into the scorching heat in Malaysia.

Melody, let me know how you do! Curious if it’ll withstand the Malaysian heat!

        Hi Muse!
I just tested out the blush on the longevity on my cheeks today. I was out for 6 hours straight, going in and out of aircon places. When I go out I totally feel like I’m melting but thankfully, my foundation and blush stayed put beautifully until I got home at the end of the day! (I’ve been using the double wear and am really impressed with it. not quite sure yet if it’s breaking me out though. It’s that time of the month unfortunately so difficult to say haha) This really makes me itch for more of those different shades now!
