Kiko 3D Instant Volume Plumping and Refreshing Lipgloss Review & Swatches
Kiko 3D Instant Volume Plumping and Refreshing Lipgloss is available in 21 shades and has is a plumping and volume-enhancing lipgloss that give lips the appearance of plumpness. Apparently it even increases the plumpness of lips over time (not so sure about that but yeah…).
Let’s take a look!
Kiko 3D Instant Volume Plumping and Refreshing Lipgloss comes housed in a barrel packaging with an hourglass flocked sponge for application. The backpacking kinda reminds me of MAC Dazzleglass!
The formula apparently contains hyaluronic acid which adds moisture and aids lips in retaining moisture through the wear. I felt the formula was thick, a little tacky, and lightly hydrating through the four hour wear. It’s a gel-like formula that doesn’t spread easily on my lips and does accentuate drier areas so it does need to be applied and run over a few times with the applicator to get the smoothest possible finish. It has fairly nice shine and the one shade I tried provided fairly opaque color on my lips.

It’s a weird gloss as it doesn’t have any taste or fragrance. Typically I expect some sort of intense peppermint or cinnamon taste but this had neither which made the slight tingle from the plumping effect sort of different and a little weird due to the lack of peppermint/cinnamon in the mix. The tingle is quite subtle and I wouldn’t say the formula really plumps lips but the texture is fairly thick which means your lips will end up looking fuller.
Although a little difficult to spread and less than smooth in appearance if I’m sloppy with application I still liked this formula. It has a lot going for it including tons of color, a comfortable formula, a strong wear of four hours, plus it makes my lips look full and plump in appearance!
Kiko Cosmetics is a little difficult to locate here in the US but a store just recently opened here in New York at the Palisades Mall plus I’m hearing there are ones in Jersey as well so check their website for details about a possible store in your area. I’m quite excited to see so many European brands branching out to the US lately like Kiko, Makeup Revolution, Catrice, etc….!
