Kiko Soft Touch Blush Review & Swatches
Kiko Cosmetics Soft Touch Blush ($12.50) is a powder blush available in 12 vibrant shades. As you know from some of my past reviews Kiko Cosmetics recently opened a store at the Palisades Mall. Kiko is an Italian brand that wasn’t easy to get here in the US so the fact they now have a store in New York is pretty exciting.
Let’s have a look at this little blush!
I picked up Kiko Soft Touch Blush in the shade 103 Golden Peach which reminds me of my favorite NARS Blush, Orgasm. This is a lot like NARS Orgasm sans the shimmer and sparkle! Strangely enough even without the chunky shimmer it still has a rather beautiful luminous glow on my cheeks and provides the perfect golden pinky peach on my cheeks. I adore shades like this and Kiko’s version is no exception!
This comes housed in a simple black compact with a mirror. It’s a little bigger than an eyeshadow but I still fit my blush brush comfortably into the well. The compact holds 0.17 oz of blush.

I find the formula, as per the name, very soft and powdery but this doesn’t translate to chalky or dry. It does kick up a good deal of powder as I stroke a brush through it so I find myself tapping off excess before applying. This is sadly wasteful but the powdery texture is very silky, very soft, and very smooth so that may or may not makeup for the powdery consistency! It applies beautifully on cheeks and doesn’t accentuate dryness. The color is very vibrant and quite pigmented. I find the vibrancy does fade a good deal though after about five hours of wear! Color is still there but it just loses some of its intensity as the wear progresses. I can get a solid eight hours of wear from the blush but as I said fading does occur during this time frame.
Application was beautiful, the formula was lovely, I just wish Kiko Soft Touch Blush remained as vibrant as the initial application but I’m not complaining and can totally see myself purchasing more of these little blushes at this price point!
