About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Love everything about this post! I will get the Supergoop one for sunscreen reapplication over makeup and I am looking forward to trying the Josie Maran spray.

aw thanks glad to hear it Chynna ! Def want the Supergoop one too!

I found the supergoop mist in a travel size at Sephora! It left an oily residue on my face so I won’t be repurchasing. Everyone’s skin is different and I’m glad I was able to try a smaller size. It has great reviews and a lot of people said it sets matte on them. I’m really curious to try the Yes to Cucumbers 🙂

I also got the Supergoop as a travel size from Sephora. I love it… I like the matte finish it leaves. I do not have oily skin, so I am sure it reacted differently to me.

But my dogs love the rosemary scent and would try to lick it off my face.

The L’Occitane one is really nice. I’m hoping to try the Josie Maran or Supergoop when I run out of one of the three mists I have now.

I’ve read several reports that sunscreen spray can be dangerous and ineffective due to the risk of getting it in your eyes or inhaling some of the ingredients. They say to never spray your face and to spray it in your hands first then apply it to your face. While I love my sunscreen I’d be worried that I was doing more harm than good. Any thoughts on this?

I’ve never actually used SPF mist on my face just my body! Perhaps they formulated this safely for facial use?! I’m not sure! I’m going to email the brand!

The Supergoop spray is a fine mist that you pump out, one spritz at a time. It does have a fragrance so you definitely want to keep your eyes closed but I feel like people keep their eyes closed any time they use a setting spray so it shouldn’t be a problem. I personally also hold my breath with any spray so that I’m not breathing in.. The supergood settles quickly, it’s not like the aerosol sunscreen sprays where it stays in the air a bit. It’s a great way to be able to get added sun protection later in the day.

Love the Lady Cassandra reference! Please do tell what the outcome is regarding your email to Super goop! I sampled this product 2 days in a row, and I couldn’t be happier. I have a super oily nose, and only nose, and this stuff mattified better than my de slick. I’m just waiting to run out of that so I can go out and get super goop, but I’m definitely interested to hear what they tell you.

I love the Lady Cassandra reference, hahaha! Thanks for the post, I love discovering new mists out there.

Oh no, almost everyone of these has alcohol, fragrance, and/or essential oils that could irritate my face. The Josie one might work, will get a sample at Sephora.
