Simple Micellar Makeup Remover Wipes

Simple Micellar Makeup Remover Wipes ($7.99 for 25 Wipes) are a new extension to the Simple Skincare family and harness the formula of Simple’s new Cleansing Micellar Water and puts it into a travel friend, easily to use makeup wipe!

Take a look!

You have to love Simple Skincare! There ingredients are ideal for sensitive skin types! Anything I’ve ever used from the brand has always been quite gentle and soothing without stripping my skin.

Simple Micellar Makeup Remover Wipes are available in packs of 25 and can be found at drugstores for as low as $5 bucks (check Walmart.com) and are formulated with many of the same ingridents in the Simple Cleansing Micellar Water so basically it’s like having a wipe format of the cleansing water! This will save you a few bucks on purchasing cotton squares to remove your makeup with 🙂 And it’ll also prove a little easier to travel with versus a bottle of micellar water. If you’re not familiar with micellar water I’d highly recommend you check out my “What is a Micellar Water?” article!

These are formulated without alcohol and contain no oil. They are quite large but not heavily saturated but they still manage to do a darn great job removing makeup. I would say that the Micellar Water does do a better job but when its the end of the night and you’re wanting to get right to bed but you hear your mother’s voice in your head saying, “Don’t go to bed with your makeup on!” these are a quick and easy way to get a good deal of makeup off your face so you can get to bed faster! With waterproof mascara this is a little iffy but I will say these remove both waterproof and non waterproof mascara way better than a regular makeup wipe does. On a whole you’re likely be able to remove about 85% (this is percentage is a little lower because these do leave a bit of waterproof mascdara residue behind) of your makeup using a single wipe!

My beauty hack of the moment? I take a wipe and saturate it with Simple Cleansing Micellar Water for even more cleansing power! This is a great way to get it ALL off and quickly too so you can get bed a whole heck of a lot quicker.

As I mentioned above these have a very gentle formula and have absolutely no fragrance. They do not leave skin oily and have a nice skin softening finish!

If you’re sensitive and your skin easily gets upset these new Simple Micellar Makeup Remover Wipes are an easy way to get most of your makeup off. As for the rest of us, well, when out late and you just wanna get to bed in a hurry these little wipes are a great way to remove your makeup in a hurry and used in conjunction with Simple Micellar Water you’ll have a dynamic duo to the makeup removal rescue.

Simple Micellar Makeup Remover Wipes are hitting drugstores now or grab ’em at Walmart.com.

I pick these up regularly from my Boots and LOVE them! One wipe, one shower and I’m entirely makeup- and clog-free for the night.

I use a separate eye makeup remover/coconut oil, so I’ll just stick with the regular micellar water. It’s a dollar cheaper, and I’m still on the same bottle I bought 2 months ago!

I love using makeup remover wipes for their convenience. Unfortunately, most of the brands don’t saturate the wipes enough. So when I take one out of the package, I drizzle a little water on it and that always works out really well!

    • Isabella Muse

agreed, there aren’t nearly enough makeup remover wipes that are heavily saturated!

OHHH! I saw these yesterday at Walmart and almost picked them up. Going on a trip and I thought it was a nice way to take micellar water

Thank you for testing these out and posting.

Oh, awesome!! No bad alcohols or fragrance in here. These will be great for travel, when I don’t want to lug my clarisonic around

  • Stacie

I would use these the same way that you do because I like to have lots of cleanser on my wipes. I’ve found these to be too dry in the past. This brand is really good though. My dermatologist recommended it to me a few years ago. Stacie xo
