Skinfood Premium Lettuce & Cucumber Watery Cream 1

Skinfood Premium Lettuce & Cucumber Watery Cream is one my very favorite Summer skincare picks! This watery essence is the perfect lightweight moisturizer or prep and prime for makeup! It’s light, super refreshing, and provides a ton of moisture to skin that might be slightly dehydrated due to too much cool air!

You might recall I did a review on Skinfood Lettuce and Cucumber Water Jelly Cream a few years ago. It’s one of staple moisturizers in the Summer months as it’s so incredibly lightweight and super hydrating.

I actually switched up from the cream to the watery cream a while back ago though as it’s even lighter in consistency and it multitasks as not only a lightweight moisturizer but also it proves an excellent face primer especially in the Winter months!

The formula is actually made up of more than 50% water with extracts from lettuce and cucumber. It’s a gel texture that literally “bursts” and becomes a water upon contact with skin. It’s very refreshing, super hydrating, and it absorbs easily into skin leaving it very smooth and soft. It’s actual an essence or serum that’s meant to be used prior to moisturizer and after toner but I tend to use it as a lightweight moisturizer or sometimes as a primer before makeup. If you have drier skin you’ll appreciate how much moisture this provides without making skin shiny or greasy. If you’re oily you can totally use this too as it’s weightless and adds moisture but doesn’t add greasiness or shine to your face.

I tend to have drier cheeks and between my brows I end to get a bit flaky and this completely softens those areas and allows my foundation to apply smoothly!

I also love this in the Summer because I wear SPF but I still need a bit of moisture so prior to applying my SPF I put a little of this on, allows it to absorb fully, and proceed to apply my SPF after. It keeps my skin nicely hydrated throughout the day and my skin retains a lot of the moisture it provides so it gives me a fresher appearance. Moist skin means less dullness!

Loves this stuff.

Whether you’re dry, oily, or combination it provides a lovely boast of lightweight moisture to skin!

Very Muse Approved.

You can grab it from Amazon.com or Skinfood stores sell it as well if you have one in your area!

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse.
