Try a New Fragrance This Summer

I have a slight addiction to fragrances and own a bit too many…eep! And my downfall is exploring the newest options out there. Here are five new fragrances from Marc Jacobs, Katy Perry, and Versace to try out this Summer!

Katy Perry Mad Potion $29 to $49
Must be the bottle or maybe it’s the juice count me intrigued by Katy Perry’s new perfume! This is a vanilla based fragrance that has notes of jasmine petals, delicate musk, amber, and musk. It just reminds me of Halloween and mad scientists. How about you?

Kate Spade Walk On Air Eau de Parfum $75
Kate takes on nature with this delightful new blend of light white florals! Notes include lily of the valley, jasmine, magnolia, and violet leaf giving the fragrance and impression of a breath of fresh air!

March Jacobs Daisy Dream Eau de Parfum $88
Daisy Dream is a more sophisticated version of the original Daisy fragrance with a floral fruity aroma of blackberries, pear, blue wisteria, jasmine and coconut water.

Marc Jacobs Mod Noir $70 to $90
A modern yet classic fragrance that celebrates gardenia with sultry musks and greens.

Versace Bright Crystal $28 to $90
Inspired by a mixture of Donatella Versace’s favorite floral fragrances this perfume contains notes of yuzu and pomegranate with soothing blossoms of peony, magnolia, and lotus flower, musk and amber.

    I absolutely love the gift set I picked up from Kilian. Out of the 4 scents I think Dangerous Liasions is my favorite.

      Did you get the Typical Me set? with the engraved atomizer? That’s a beautiful set!

        I think it includes that one but it’s called the Floral Harmony Discovery Kit. I was lucky enough to get my hands on one of the LE sets that included 4 scents instead of 3. And yes it has the engraved atomizer which is absolutely stunning. Best purchase I’ve made all year.

          jealous!!! 😀 Enjoy it, wear in health! I just picked up Viktor & Rolf Bon Bon blinded folded! I couldn’t wait for it to get into stores! I hope I love it! *bites nails*

            Thanks! 🙂 Fragrance is subjective so I can never go by the reviews. I need to smell it, wear it and then decide. I haven’t heard of that one but I like some of their other scents.

            It really is! I read a lot on Fragrantica and sometimes I’ll purchase something based off what someone says in the comments about the notes, how a fragrance smells etc and I’ll buy it based off that but it ends up going so terribly wrong in most cases haha! For example, when Guerlain first launched La Petite Robe Noire and everyone was raving it as the most incredible gourmand. Now don’t get me wrong, all the variations of the juice are quite lovely but I really don’t associate the fragrance as a gourmand, it’s a bit too dark for that. Or maybe I’m nuts 😀 Apparently Bon Bon is supposed to be very fruity and sweet! We shall see! I’ll tell you more after trying it 😀 Also did you see the Roja Parfums Tutti Frutti Parfums? I’ve avoided smelling them because if I love them I simply can’t see myself spending that much on a fragrance! That’s a major investment but they sound divine 😀

    I am intrigued by that new Katy Perry! I love sweet scents and the bottle is adorable. I totally see the mad scientist thing! I have been on a fragrance kick as of lately too. I know Britney Spears just released a new flanker to Fantasy in a white bottle I want to sniff!!

    I’ve got to at least sniff the Marc Jacobs one. I like the bottle and the notes sound amazing.

    I refer Fragrantica too! And I try them out, leave them for an hour or so..sniff them again.. Have Marc Jacobs Dream, its the kind that makes you happy hahaha
