Yes to Cucumbers Cooling Hydrating Mist

Yes to Cucumbers Cooling Hydrating Mist ($10.99) is a new facial mist that launching at drugstores now and provides a cooling sensation when applied to face or body. Now, we might be talking a lot about Fall don’t be discouraged because there is still plenty of Summer to be had and you’ll want to have a little of this Yes to Cucumber Cooling Hydrating Mist around during your travels because it is oh so refreshing!

About two or three years ago I was at Seaworld in Orlando sitting high up in the stands awaiting Shamu to make his appearance. A bunch of friends and I decided that a revisit to Seaworld after many years of not going would be great. And it was…! BUT…for some reason I was really unprepared for how incredibly hot it would be sitting in that stadium. First off the stadium seating is made from a kinda dull metallic silver but to me it acts like a freaking sun reflector and captured any and all light and directs it on the person sitting there like a spotlight. Both myself and the girls (not the guys as they ended up sitting lower down in the splash section) I was with did not want to be in the splash section. Sorry, call me high maintenance but the idea of being splashed by water that a big whale is doing god knows what in isn’t my idea of fun.

The thing I remember most about this day was seeing an older Asian lady sitting in front of me with a bottle of The Face Shop Aloe Fresh Soothing Mist. She actually had it tucked inside one of those little canvas lunch bags with a bunch of ice and she was misting her face and arms and at that second I thought, “This woman is a genius, why didn’t I think of that?”

Needless to say I have used and reused her trick numerous times since by taking my favorite facial mists with me to the pool, the beach, theme parks, etc…generally I tuck them inside a resealable ziploc bag which is loaded up with ice. Even well after the ice melts your face mist will remain nice and chilled!

Yes to Cucumbers Cooling Hydrating Mist actually already PROVIDES a cooling sensation so you don’t have to do the extra work. This was formulated for sensitive skin and has a blend of cucumber, aloe, green tea, and elder flower to add soothing moisture to your skin. Of course, no one says you can’t tuck it into your cooler or wrap it in bag with ice or even put it in your fridge to cool it off even further!

This is a heavier mist spray that kinda reminds me of St Ives Lotion Spray so it isn’t fab for setting makeup it is however, ideal for getting a good burst of moisture to both your face and your body. It also has a rather delightful crisp, cool cucumber fragrance! I typically use after my shower and just mist my face and body with it. Or at the end of the nice after I cleanse I’ll mist on my face as I always feel like this is a perfect way to prep for moisturizer and allow it to absorb more easily into skin!

I normally avoid facial sprays with fragrance, but since it’s so hard to find one without any fragrance and it was last on the ingredient list, I ordered it. I like that it contains soothing ingredients like aloe, green tea, cucumber. I’m hoping my face is ok with it. If not, I can use on my body or return to Ulta

I knew that a lunch cooler backpack was an ingenious idea! I just saw one online and couldn’t figure out why I felt that I NEEDED it so badly. Now I know. I can pack it full of face mists!
