Bourjois Aqua Blush Review & Swatches

Bourjois Aqua Blush

Bourjois Aqua Blush ($14) launched for Summer 2015 in four fresh shades. This new fluid gel formula promises up to 12 hours of wear with a formula that absorbs easily and leaves cheeks with a flush of pretty color.

I recently purchased three shades of Bourjois Aqua Blush as I thought they’d be an excellent way to get lightweight color on my cheeks quickly!

And I was right! This formula is easy to use, wears long, wears lightly, and looks great!

Bourjois Aqua Blush come in a tiny little pump which distributes just the right amount of product which can be gently tapped onto cheeks to provide a flush of pretty color. Bourjois calls this a fluid gel but personally I’d just call it a gel. It has a fluffy gel-like consistency that blends out very easily on skin. I like the texture and I really like how it doesn’t leave me looking spotty or ruddy the way some cheek stains such as Benetint does. The blendability is one of the nicest features of the blush as the color is very seamless and builds easily for sheerer or heavier pops of color. I felt like a little went a long way with two of the three shades I purchased as they had a good deal of pigment. Pink Twice was the exception as this applied a little sheer so I needed to build a little for the better color pay off. Once applied these set to a soft, smooth finish without being sticky, tacky, or dewy. They almost have the set of a cheek stain in my opinion since they do in fact wear as long as Bourjois Paris promises with at least a 12 hour wear and heck, I even got 14 hours in on a hot day without any fading. Look out though as they will dye fingers a shade of pink so you’ll need to wash up before heading out of the house after applying!

As someone who really loves cheek stains in the Summer I’d say these Bourjois Aqua Blush are even easier to use and look more natural and pretty in comparison. The formula doesn’t give me a ruddy finish and the shades are natural, juicy flushes of color that blend out easily with a long, strong wear.

Hi Musey, do you notice any fragrance in these blushes at all? Thanks. 😀

there’s a subtle rose when you actually open the bottles but when I pump and apply I get nothing but my nose is kinda not all that great just a warning 🙂
