Estee Lauder Pure Color Envy Liquid Lip Volumizer

File the new Estee Lauder Pure Color Envy Liquid Lip Volumizer ($28) under awesome. Estee Lauder Pure Color Envy Liquid Lip Volumizer was introduced for Fall 2015 and is a subtly tinted lipgloss with a blend of a blend of hyaluronic spheres to help moisturize, smooth and plump your lips.

I’m really bad about touching up my lipstick and gloss as the day progresses so I keep a selection of lip balms and clear gloss in my desk drawer for easy 1, 2, 3 application without interupting my work flow. Estee Lauder Pure Color Envy Liquid Lip Volumizer happens to be one of those products I can slip on easily for a hint of color, a ton of shine, and light moisture while giving my lips a plump look!

Loves!

I happen to be a big fan of Dior Addict Lip Maximizer High Volume Lip Plumper because it’s such a simple gloss but a powerful one that makes lips look so full, plush, and pouty! Estee Lauder Pure Color Envy Liquid Lip Volumizer is just as lovely and also one ups Dior by adding a hint of tint to their formula.

This a fluid-like gloss with a thin consistency and a subtle minty flavor with a hint of coolness when applied to lips but nothing that stings. The consistency of the gloss is near perfect to me. It feels gel-like but has a fluid texture that applies easily and give lips a very, very nice shine. It also feels pleasantly moist through the three hour wear time and lifts feel softer and smoother as it fades away. It isn’t sticky nor is it tacky.

As you can see the applicator is a rather bright shade of pink. This surprised me or should I say startled me as I was worried it would apply as pink on my lips but the color doesn’t have a fuchsia pink finish but more a subtle my lips but better look.

You can wear it alone or over your favorite lipsticks. Personally I liked it alone because it made my lips look not only shiny but also fuller and plusher. I’m prone to drier lips and this gave them a very smooth appearance without sticking to drier areas.

Estee Lauder Pure Color Envy Liquid Lip Volumizer is quite a pleasant little gloss that’s perfect for touch ups on the go. A hint of shine, a little bit of color, and a formula that makes lips look plush and pouty makes this gloss a worthy pick up!

Can you recommend a primer for oily skin? I tend to sweat easily and my nose gets oily. I’ve tried Smash box, super goop, and UD. Is Too Faced any good? Tired of wasting money. I get samples in my ipsy bag but nothing good so far!
    Thank you,

I rather like Benefit’s Porefessional. It’s a bit drying if you use it as an overall primer, but works well when I dab a bit on the oily spots on my nose and chin.

Nyx Angel Veil primer is really good and oil-free, if you’re looking for a drugstore option. It’s around $12-$13.

I really like the Becca mattifying primer! I use it in combination with the Hourglass primer and I find that it keeps my skin smooth and relatively oil free. it’s a little pricy, but it’s a huge tube that lasts forever – or at least 6 months.

Sarah-I can’t figure out on my phone how to directly reply but-try rimmel stay matte primer. I’ve also had good luck with the bare minerals mattifying primer.
With my oily skin: my 90 degree, run around outside fool proof combo is the bare minerals primer, Estée Lauder double wear and the bare minerals mineral veil as finishing powder. That finishing powder is like my rediscovered best friend, lol.
