Kiko Full Coverage Concealer Review & Swatches

Kiko Full Coverage Concealer3

I recently picked up Kiko Full Coverage Concealer ($12) at the Kiko Cosmetics Store in Rockland County because it’s marketed as “very high coverage concealer”. I have finer lines, some darkness under my eyes, and puffiness that I’m always looking to cover up so I’m all over high coverage concealer especially one that doesn’t set you back a ton of money!

Take a look!

Kiko Full Coverage Concealer comes housed in a tiny black compact that holds 0.06 oz of concealer. This formula is available in eight shade selections and I choose it in 03 Medium which fit me fairly well.

This isn’t a formula I personally like as it’s a bit too dry for my liking. It’s not so dry it’s sucking moisture from my skin but I just find it a little difficult to apply as I’m tugging a fair bit during the application and blending process. On the upside, a little eye cream or serum like Dr. Denese Hydroshield helps a lot in making things a lot smoother but I just prefer something a bit moisturizing as I find this tends to crease into my finer lines as the day progresses. Around this time of the year I’m a bit oily so I can make this work and the drier, denser consistency does spread and blend out a little easier due to that oiliness but it still creases none the less! It wears for around six hours and fades at around hour seven so I wouldn’t say I get all day wear from it.

But most important of all would be the coverage which is truly not a “very high coverage” but more of a sheer to almost but not quite medium matte finish. If you have severe dark circles this isn’t going to do the trick. It does have some brightening abilities and it perks up my tired eyes but on days I’m working on five hours of sleep I need a heck of a lot more pigment than this provides.

Oh well!

Kiko Full Coverage Concealer might win points for those with oily skin but those of us with drier skin and those needing a good deal of coverage likely won’t love this concealer.

It’s available now in stores or online at www.kikocosmetics.com.

I purchased this item.

I live in Italy and this is not an under eye concealer, but rather a face concealer. I find the coverage quite good especially for redness on my chin and nose.
I can see why this seems drying around the eyes! Or on drier skin. Although like I said, it’s not intended for that area (since yes, you would “pull” to blend)
I didn’t know Kiko was now available in the US. 🙂

thanks D! I tend to use concealers under my eyes even when they are meant for the complexion 😀 Yup! They have a website that sells to US residents and stores now in the US too!
