Jouer Anti-Blemish Matte Primer

I always complain that there aren’t enough hydrating primers out there for drier skin peeps like myself but I imagine if you have blemish prone skin you’re having the same issues because how many face primers are excellent picks for problematic skin right?

No worries now you can prep, prime, and treat blemishes with Jouer Anti-Blemish Matte Primer!

Take a look!

Jouer Anti-Blemish Matte is a lightly hydrating formula that absorbs easily into skin and contains a salicylic acid acne treatment that treats acne or blemishes as you wear it. I actually tried this for a while earlier this Summer as I’m suddenly experiencing this weird flare up of chin acne which is so unlike me. Maybe it’s hormonal acne who knows thankfully it cleared up quickly enough.

This is actually a fairly nice primer as it’s quite lightweight yet moist enough to create a soft, smooth surface for foundation to cling to. It has no fragrance and contains a mix of aloe, vitamin E, ginseng, and salicylic acid to treat calm redness, reduce inflammations, and treat blemishes as it preps and primes skin. I wouldn’t call it the most mattifying formula in the world but it’s very lightly hydrating without adding extra oil to skin. It absorbs very easily and the entire time I was using it I was very pleased with the results as it cleared up the flare up on my chin after a few days of using it!

I love multitasking products and this one takes care preps and primes for skin for makeup as well as treats it! If you’re acne prone this is a nice little way to get in your prep work and treat your blemishes.

Hmmmm.. I have occasional acne on my forehead and hormonal ones. But the moisturising bit seems interesting. *put on tryout list*

And and and just to add. I have the Shiseido White Lucent Brightening Spot Control Base UV in Ivory. It functions as a primer with brightening and spot control benefitsm with SPF 35 PA+++. It is an okay one, I like it because of the skin benefits it gives. But so far, the best primer I’ve used is the Laneige Moisture Make up primer. Excellent.
