the Balm The Manizer Sisters Luminizer Collection Palette Review & Swatches
The Manizer Sisters joins forces and make an appearance as a trio in the new the Balm The Manizer Sisters Luminizer Collection Palette! The new the Balm The Manizer Sisters Luminizer Collection Palette brings together the outrageous Mary-Lou Manizer guilty of creating an innocent honey hued highlight on cheeks and face for a more youthful look, the notorious Betty-Lou Manizer wanted for faking the bake by giving your cheeks and face a golden bronze faux sun kissed finish, and Cindy-Lou Manizer on the loose for giving cheeks and face a light-reflecting peachy pink splash of color.
I actually have all these femme fatales in my collection already but having them all in one easy travel friendly palette is fabulous!
I can’t believe it’s been nearly seven year’s since the Balm Mary-Lou Manizer released. How crazy is that? Now these notorious sisters all come together in one cute palette!
the Balm The Manizer Sisters Luminizer Collection Palette is a $28 (0.04 oz total size) palette and is available exclusively at Kohl’s and kohls.com. The palette is a slim line rectangular magnetic closure palette with a generously sized mirror and the powders inside.
These powders all are tripled mill which gives them a very soft, velvety consistency. I’ve always compared them to the texture of Stila Kitten as they are thick and almost creamy-like in consistency! The powders act as a highlighter, eyeshadow, and even a blush in some cases! All three are easy to over do so use a lighter hand during application to avoid a disco ball finish. I wouldn’t say there’s pure shimmer or glitter here but things get frosty with heavier application so remember to go lightly!

the Balm The Manizer Sisters Luminizer Collection Palette Swatches (Mary-Lou, Cindy-Lou, and Betty-Lou)
Mary-Lou Manizer is the true highlighter in the group with a soft golden beige champagne. Lots of people have compared this to Too Faced Absolutely Invisible Candlelight in the past but I think Mary-Lou is way more of a golden sheen versus the subtly white gold of Too Faced’s finish. Mary-Lou’s a fav of mine on my lids but it can be really frosty and glittery on my face as I tend to have a heavier hand but if I’m very careful I can get a nice golden glow on my complexion so remember use a little TLC during application.
Betty Lou Manizer Bronzer was released in 2012 and she’s also great for use as not only a bronzer but also as a shadow. This is a rich chocolate-y bronze shade and I’m always a little scared of shades like this as they tend to apply muddy but on my eyes it looks pretty darn nice and smokes out to give eyes a nice hint of bronze-y brown. On cheeks it gives a very brown bronze finish with a nice sheen.
Cindy Lou Manizer is the newest powder in this trio and she acts as a highlighter, a blush for fairer skin, and an eyeshadow. Cindy Lou is a very pretty golden rose powder with a peachy bronze effect that gives a subtle peachy glow on cheeks!
If you have none of these shades now is a good a time as any to get all three in this fabulous little palette! And if you already do? This is a nice travel friendly way to take all the girls with you when you’re out and about.
the Balm The Manizer Sisters Luminizer Collection Palette is a great pick up if you’re a contour and highlighter kind of girl or guy. These shades are nice essential colors for bringing light and depth to your face.
You can grab the palette now at Kohl’s or kohls.com.
