About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Dang. I just bought one full size.
How do you know which version you have? Do you know?

For all those confused, yes, Lolita II it’s a new color. It’s previously unreleased and available exclusively in this set. It is not available in the full size; Lolita, however, is a popular staple of the KVD liquid lipsticks and one of hee best sellers.
Lolita II is a color which draws on the nude, MLBB feel of the regular Lolita but it’s a unique variation. They can be mixed for an even more unique color.

Great, I think I might have to place another Sephora order for this and the LE Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Palette!

If I recall correctly, KVD released a huge batch of Lolitas that didn’t match earlier batches and swatches (like, at all). People had a frustrating time figuring out whether they had purchased an original Lolita or a mistake batch Lolita. There were lots of returns, lots of annoyed customers, but finally KVD sent a new batch of the first version to stores and balance was restored to The Force. (I think the mistake batches were pulled from shelves.) Does this mean they made the second iteration permanent and just renamed it Lolita 2? If so, that was clever of them.
