L’Oreal The Art of Holiday Beauty Featuring the La Palette Nude Intense Palette

L'Oreal The Art of Holiday Beauty 2

The new L’Oreal The Art of Holiday Beauty for Holiday 2015 is limited edition selection of gift sets inspired by the “The Art of Nude” look. This collection also features the L’Oreal La Palette Nude Intense Palette which had me raise a brow in question. Intense? What? Where? Who?

There are two eyeshadows in the L’Oreal The Art of Holiday Beauty Collection one of which is the La Palette Nude Eyeshadow Palette and the other is called the La Palette Nude Intense which to me is basically the La Palette Nude 2. I didn’t have my La Palette Nude 2 when I was in the store so I jogged over to the permanent L’Oreal display and put the palettes side by side and I noticed absolutely no differences between the two. The main difference here was the fact both of these palettes are housed in a festive Holiday sleeve but aside from that they are merely the La Palette Nude 1 and La Palette Nude 2 Palettes.

Hmmm…

Confusing?

Yes!

You’ll also find in this collection pretty nail and lip gift sets featuring a permanent True Red Lipstick and Polish. As well as eyeliner, mascara, and lip sets featuring the same True Red shade.

It’s a fun and festive little collection that might be worth exploring as a stocking stuffers or little gift for the Holidays.

But don’t get too excited about the “Intense” Palette because to me it isn’t anything new just newly named.

L’Oreal the Art of Holiday Beauty for Holiday 2015 is popping up now at drugstores.

Great minds do indeed think alike! I came across this display at BB&B and compared the two “new” palettes to the other two. Voila! They are exactly the same, down to the item # on the back.

As if L’Oreal doesn’t make enough money, they almost tricked me into buying these “new” palettes but thankfully I realized they are the same exact items. Shame on you, L’Oreal!

Weird right? Why rename it like that?! I honestly had a moment that I was squinting my eyes and convincing myself hmmm yeah it looks a little darker maybe but that’s about all. lol! Weirdness!

L’oreal seems to frequently do this – set up a repromote as something brand new and totally different. Nice try, L’oreal, but a lot of us are up on your game!

Fab post and pics! I wonder if the lip and nail sets are matching colors. I’m currently way into matching lips and nails!
