This not only includes essentials brushes you’ll reach for quite often but you’ll also get a set of very high quality makeup brushes with super soft bristles and sturdy handles that will last you years and years and years. I have a few of the Real Technique Brushes that I purchased when they first launched a few years ago and I use them quite often and have since washed them numerous times and they look brand new. I don’t typically migrate towards synthetic brushes but these are by far the best budget ones I’ve used and of the highest quality since they wash so well without shedding, spitting, or becoming dense after cleansing.

This set contains the popular Angled Highlighter Brush, a Fine Liner Brush plus the Multi-tasking Brush for powders, blushes, and bronzers, the Tapered Foundation Brush which works great with creams and concealer and finally the Base Shadow Brush.

You also get a pure white envelope clutch to store the brushes in although it actually makes for a nice little purse too!

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. A lot of the information mentioned here is incorrect. For starters, only two of the brushes are exclusive to this collection (it’s even written on the box) not three. The multitasking brush is part of the permanent collection, as are the fine liner and base shadow brushes. The angled highlighter brush is not part of the permanent collection. Considering this was a PR sample, I expected this information to be more accurate.

Sorry for, Lamya, I did indeed get this incorrect but I’m gone ahead and corrected the information. I was multitasking yesterday and described the brush set incorrectly! Mistakes happen sometimes 🙂

Well, I just picked up the Eyelining Set, which includes the Precision Liner Brush, although it expressly states on the package “4 Exclusive Brushes + Pouch”. I’ve never seen it sold on its own, so although not *technically* “exclusive”, I can see how easy it was for Muse to make that mistake. Apparently, one can’t go by on what the package states, as it is obviously included in both sets, and therefore cannot be “exclusive”, yet my package states otherwise. Either way, it’s not worth such a nitpicky comment… However, if Lamya wants to nitpick, there are flaws in her own comment. She states “several” things were wrong in the post, yet she only points out one, which is even more obvious when she makes the statement, “For starters…”,but doesn’t follow up, LOL!

Thanks Amy, I noticed that as well about the Eyelining Set. It also states that on a press sheet. It’s a little confusing which brushes are and aren’t exclusive to the sets and which have or haven’t been available before! eep hopefully there was nothing else she wanted to follow up with that was bad 🙂 haha!

The multi tasker and base shadow brush are repromotes from other sets that I already have, but I do want that angled highlighter brush. Is that available separately? I can’t remember seeing that one before.

I think I incorrectly labeled these, sorry about that. Was multitasking! 🙂 It’s the tapered foundation brush and angled highlighter brush exclusive tot he set but the tapered foundation brush can be found in other sets 🙂 Hope that helps!

I do have two of these brushes so I thought I’d reach more for the Nic’s Picks by Real Techniques. That one is very interesting. And almost same price I think 🙂
