About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. If you’re that person feel free to reach out and leave a comment or follow me on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Bloglovin‘.

I wanna say yes…but I think there might be something more upcoming!

Hi Muse. This looks so tempting. I love Tarte. I am trying to be good. I recently got from Sephora the blush palette and 5 full size lip surgnce kit.

    • Isabella Muse

It does indeed! Wonder if it is any good 🙂 Are you liking the blush palette?

  • Maria

Yes Muse. Blush shades are very pretty. Got great reviews on Sephora website. I just checked out QVC. I noticed the eyeshadows are very small and look similar to all the previous Tarte sets in neutrals and Browns. Tarte needs more colors in their kits.

awesome! Happy to hear 🙂 I know, lots of rerun shades sadly 🙁

I got the set from QVC last year and was pleasantly surprised by the eye liners. The blushes were amazing and the lip surgences made me realize how much I loved them all over again…and how few I actually own of them. So far I’ve picked up the large set from Sephora and the blush palette, plus I grabbed the Tarte exclusive set. I’m going to order the Ulta sets soon as well, but they may be pushed back so I can grab this one. Little disappointed the blushes are in palettes and not separate.

Tarte is the only brand I’m focusing on for the holiday sets…and that wasn’t planned. lol.

Wow thanks for keeping us informed I just got one. Really loving this set because of variety of items. Love easy pay

I’m getting this one too but I was surprised no auto delivery which does sound like something different is coming. I am going to have a ton of stuff to play with after christmas lol! Love the holiday sets. They are such a deal and I use the eye cream so that was a super surprise!

I’m not even tempted by this set, and it makes me sad. Tarte has gone from being one of my favorite brands, to a disappointment. Maybe it’s due to the sale of the company, I don’t know. But I feel like this years holiday sets are both boring and redundant. They’re charging the same amount for less product for one. They couldn’t even be bothered to put the usual imprint on the blushes. Talk about lazy. I bought the blush set and returned it because all the sales were orange. I’ll keep the set I bought from Ulta, but I wonder if it’s more for nostalgia than actually wanting anything from it.

If they don’t seriously step up their game next year, I’ll be laying off the brand for a while. There’s only so many of the same beige shadow a person needs. It’s such a shame too. Not a lot of companies are completely gluten free, something I need as a celiac. I’m really hoping they turn it around.

do you know the names of the shadows? (i picked this up tonight :]) and you think there will be another set?!?!?

    • Isabella Muse

I sadly don’t sorry! I’m hoping for another set closer to Christmas maybe for a November TSV but I don’t have official information sadly.

  • Julianne

Hi 🙂 Just checking out your review and wanted to let you guys know, that when they were airing this on QVC, they specifically said multiple times that Tarte WILL NOT be having a TSV this year…so this is basically their TSV without calling it that, I guess :-/ It doesn’t mean that they won’t have something else before the end of the year, but I doubt it will be anything near as big as this, if anything at all. They usually have one holiday kit for QVC each year 🙁 Hope this helps!! Oh, and great site Muse!! I come here all the time to look at all of the new beauty products 🙂

    • Isabella Muse

Thanks Julianne for the very helpful info!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I wasn’t sure as the brand hadn’t mentioned a TSV to me as of yet! Thanks for giving us the news 🙂 aw thank you very much, so glad you like the site xoxoxo!
