Urban Decay Gwen Stefani Eyeshadow Palette Coming November

Word broke on Instagram tonight that the Urban Decay Gwen Stefani Eyeshadow Palette is coming your way November 22nd. The Urban Decay X Gwen Stefani Collection was whispered about a few weeks and it’s becoming a reality with the introduction of this Urban Decay Gwen Stefani Eyeshadow Palette that contains 15 shades of eyeshadow that Gwen and Urban Decay collaborated on and created together!

From the images that Urban Decay posted it looks like a nice selection of neutral shades with a few pops of color here and there.

More photos after the jump!

I don’t have all the shade names but some are:

  • Baby
  • Anaheim
  • Stark
  • Zone
  • Serious
  • Pop
  • Harajuku
  • Danger
  • 1987
  • Blackout

As further information becomes available on the Urban Decay Gwen Stefani Eyeshadow Palette I’ll be sure to post but right now Urban Decay is stating a launch date of November 22nd and that will likely be on their website first but no word yet on a Sephora and Ulta date!

I’m excited. This palette looks quite lovely!

How about you?

Love it?

Not really?

Do share!

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. They’re pretty! I’m surprised the yellow shade isn’t b a n a n a s!

Pending good reviews, I’m buying this. I’m sure I’ve duped every shade in my current collection, but I like Gwen. That’s a good enough reason right?

Vice 4 showed up for VIB exclusive on Sephora at least a couple of weeks before the UD.com launch. That would put it right in line with their VIB-Rouge Fall Event (and better yet, Coupon time ;-))

I know I’m the only one more than likely but not impressed but do like the packaging. Maybe some actual review photos my alter my thinking. So far nothing coming out for the holiday has grabbed my attention. It pains me to say that because I look forward to holiday palettes. Then of course I am learning the whole downsizing aspect of lift and have to question myself how often would I reach for this to justify the purchase. Oh sad times…

Sorry – I have to disagree, I’m in love with the packaging of the Vice 4 (probably the main reason I bought it) – it matches my CAR – BOSH!!!!!!!!!!!! But you’re right – I dislike the Gwen thing a lot – so UNLIKE UD – yuck! makes me think of gold chains around the neck and gold teeth…

I forgot about the Vice 4 yes love the packaging. I guess I am just a neutral person…the bright colors just don’t do it for me. I have to be able to use a good 75%+ of the palette to justify a purchase. My alex 9 drawer is not in need of anything new. Have to tell myself I don’t need anything LOL!!

I love those first two rows, but the shades in the last row aren’t shades I would reach for, or that would flatter me. I’ll have to see pricing on this one.. I may be the only one not impressed with the packaging (though it may be a Gwen thing, and I don’t really know much about her), but I usually end up depotting them anyway. LOVE that top right shade!!!

Girl, you don’t know a lot about GWEN?? You’re making me feel so old! Tragic Kingdom was the biggest album ever when I was in middle school, and everyone was obsessed with them. I also like her song “Cool,” though her other solo work is BLEH.

How has this woman not done a lipstick collection yet? Someone needs to make that happen and then clear a line for me at Sephora, Ulta, or wherever it ends up.

    • Isabella Muse

This is only one piece in the collection, maybe they’ll be lip shades too!

i searched this on ebay a couple hours ago and there’s one listing which comes with a 4-shade lip sample and i’m pretty sure it was packaged as UDxGwen.

  • Janessa

The fangirl and makeup collector in me are both chomping at the bit for this! I can’t wait to get my hands on it. And the gorgeous RED that she has coming out with this collection. I can’t wait!

  • danadoo

This just doesn’t move me. Most of these are colors i already own and that blue shade just seems random and just thrown in there for the heck of it. Not a Gwen fan either, so this will be easy for me to pass up.

Looks are deceiving with this palette. There are 24 black circles on the front of the case, but actually only 15 shadows. It’s still pretty, though.

    • lisa

Yes, but the actual pans of makeup are larger than the dots. I don’t think it was attempting to be deceiving or representative, just a cute decoration idea.

I hope UD isn’t going the way of MAC with celebrity promotions every two weeks…. that being said, I am not a great fan of this palette because I think that more than a few of the shades are very similar to each other, lots of them are dupable and there are no greens in it. Oh, and there is yet another rich brown chocolate and black (like in EVERY other palette!).
