Diptyque Mini Candle Set It’s Doable

Diptyque Mini Candle Set

I love Bath & Body Works Candles as you know but the endless raves about Diptyque Candles hasn’t tempted me in the slightest. As much as I adore my Diptyque perfumes I can’t say I’ve ever indulged in a single one of their candles.

Why?

They smell amazing! I’ve been tempted yes, but not so tempted I’ve actually dished out $60 on one of their candles. Heck, I’m the person that cringes because Bath & Body Works Candles are now 2 for $24 so I just can’t see myself splurging that kind of cash on a candle. I also fear that as good as they smell cold that they won’t smell as wonderful when burning nor will they have any real throw. I mean I can’t confirm as most people I’ve spoken to claim they have a really strong burn but…I don’t trust splurging $60 on a candle yanno?

But the Diptyque Mini Candle Set might just be doable for me. This is a great way to test these out as it contains 10 mindle candles in 1.2 oz jars. Some of the scents sound divine for cocktail burning like Vanilla and Hazelnut Tree!

You get:

  • Pomander
  • Sandalwood
  • Juniper
  • Wood Fire
  • Opopanax
  • Amber
  • Benzoin
  • Vanilla
  • Hazelnut Tree
  • Cypress

It’s $130 but I feel a little better about spending $130 verus $60 on a single candle!

The Diptyque Mini Candle Set is available now for a limited time at Nordstrom.com.

What do you think of their candles?

I got one of their mini candles when I purchased some perfume directly from their site. The throw is excellent but $60 for one candle? I just can’t justify it. If they were a bit cheaper I’d be all over them.

I splurged on one last year for my birthday and it gives me the biggest headache. i’d rather get the BBW, they smell great & last forever

I adore them and have been buying them for over 10 years from when my brother lived in Paris and they weren’t easily available elsewhere. Having said that I adore them – that would be specifically one or two. I’m fussy! My absolute fave and one I always have on the side of my bath is Musc. I detest any and all of the floral ones though – ditto with the perfumes. I like Tam Dao and my current one, 34. The christmas special candles from Space NK are usually really nice and come in smaller sizes too.
