Escada Agua Del Sol Eau

Hi, I’m the Muse and I’m addicted to Escada fragrances! I think I have every single one they have every made aside from Tropical Punch which sadly I cannot fine in a large bottle!

So of course, I’ll be purchasing Escada Agua Del Sol Eau de Toilette which arrives for the Spring 2016 season a little early. But hey, by January we’ll all be thinking about where we want to spend Spring Break so might as well get on that earlier rather than later right?

Escada Agua Del Sol is the brand’s typical fruity floral that contains a dominate note of nashi pear granita paired up with sweet notes of raspberry, apricot, and the zest and tartness of Italian citrus-y fruits. The base is made of a soft white musk combined with tonka bean and a touch of smooth sandalwood.

I love Escada’s blends, they do fruity florals to perfection in my opinion so I’m quite eager to smell Agua Del Sol.

It’s actually available at Ulta.com now and I might just haul it without smelling in person as Escada rarely disappoints!

Anyone else get as excited about new Escada perfumes as much as I do?

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I absolutely adore Escada fragrances! Sadly I’m allergic to them… so my daughter has become hooked on Cherry in the Air. Took me several fragrances to figure it out, but my loss is her gain LOL They are ALL so delicious! 😀

PS – Love the new blog layout!

    • Isabella Muse

oh no really? Do they make you sneeze!? I like that one too! One of my fabs 🙂 Aw thanks Missy!

  • Lori

I love Escada fragrances, too! I feel like I’m on vacation every time I use one of their delicious scents! I just discovered them about 2 years or so ago, so I only have some of the newer releases. I do think that many of them smell very similar, but that’s ok because I like them all so much. 🙂 I’m excited to check out this latest addition! Thanks for the heads up, Muse!

Lori, likewise! They just remind me of Spring break 🙂 True! Some of the newer ones feel very repetitive (the older ones are gems imho) but I don’t care, I still love them 🙂 I wish they had a stronger linger on my skin but I’ll still take ’em! They are always have such great blends. My pleasure xoxo!

I’ve actually had the pleasure of smelling this bad boy a few months ago at a beauty expo, and let me tell you, you will not be disappointed if you blind-buy! I couldn’t stop smelling it! Then again, do any of their fragrances ever disappoint? I’m totally with you on the Escada train. : )

Ooh, sounds great! Especially since it doesn’t have jasmine, lily of the valley, or cedar in it! I’m really sensitive to those (they tend to give me sinus issues), so I tend to stay away from most fragrances with them. I have a full size Cherry in the Air, and a set of miniature CitA, Born in Paradise, Sexy Graffiti, and Rockin’ Rio. Love Cherry in the Air when it’s used sparingly.

Escada perfumes are my jam… I have back ups among back ups of Island Kiss, and I’m still hunting last year’s Turquoise Summer big mama bottle coz I was crazy and only bought a rollerball.

OH MAN! I LOVE Escada fragrances! I got obsessed with them because of Tropical Punch too. But back in 2001 I had no idea they were limited and I was a poor college student back then. Man, I wish I just went and bought it. I have minis, but I’m not using them. Just get a whiff every now and then.

I’ve collected them over the years and I have them starting from Lily Chic which was out in 2000. (a mini of course). I think they started from 1993. I wish they would bring back the old ones like they did one year. Do Tropical Punch, do you hear us Escada?!

Ibiza Hippe may be my all time fave. I have 3 bottles thanks to Costco!

    • Isabella Muse

oh sadness how I miss Tropical Punch! Isn’t it a shame!? lol! I sure hope they are reading this!!!!!!!! Ibiza Hippie is one my favs too! 🙂

Escada does have some very nice fragrances, I agree with you. I have bought two of them. There was one that came about about 10 years ago that I loved. I think it was called “Ocean Blue” (I could be wrong), and I was never able to find another full size bottle to buy.

    • Isabella Muse

mmm Ocean Blue now you got me googling! lol! They really are fab! I wish they were a little stronger but I do so love ’em!

  • Nelle

I thought I was the only one addicted to Escada limited edition fragrances! Taj Sunset is my favorite and fragrancenet.com enabled my collection by having some of the past fragrances for me to purchase, I may have a slight fragrance buying problem but it is worth it and I will definitely be picking Aqua del sol.

    • Isabella Muse

haha me too Nelle (having a fragrance problem that is!) and I shop fragrance.net all the time 🙂 they have some great long, gone fragrances!

  • dina

i have the full size tropical punch, fell in love with it back in the day!! =) great minds….
    happy thanksgiving! xo

  • Anne-Marie

I did the wrist test yesterday morning … and ran back to buy it in the afternoon!

I was wearing the same perfume for almost 15 years and could not find something else that fits my body chemistry. Agua del sol smells d-e-l-i-c-i-o-u-s on my skin 🙂 I am in love with it!

I was wondering how many years can we keep an unopened bottle without losing quality? (Planing on buying a few 😉

  • Anne-Marie

An other question… or two : do yo know if fragrance.net sells authentic perfumes or copies? Is it a safe website to order from?
    Thank you!

  • Sylvia

Just bought mine at Ulta. Early Christmas gift to ME! Oh my…Agua Del Sol is amazing!! I bought 2 bottles and received a travel size to boot! Escada did it again! They rock!

  • Monica

I too have a fragrance buying addiction, particulately for the Escada limited edition scents. My favourite is Tropical Punch which I discovered in a duty free shop whilst travelling overseas. I was upset when I finished it, but discovered eBay a couple of years ago and have since bought two more bottles there. I can tell you it is still smelling just as good as when it was released in 2001. I was wearing it just yesterday as my Xmas scent. It really went well with the 35degrees Celsius heat in Melbourne Australia.

    • Isabella Muse

ugh I so miss Tropical Punch! 😉 I am so jealous you have a little stash!
