Lunasol Melty Chocolat Lip Review & Swatches

Lunasol Melty Chocolat Lip

Lunasol Melty Chocolat Lip Lipgloss is a new Fall 2015 launch in Japan that consists of three shades of lipgloss inspired by chocolate. Contrary to what stores are telling you it still very much Fall so let’s revert back from all the Holiday pandemonium that surrounds us at the moment and enjoy some gorgeous shades of Fall lipgloss!

Lunasol Melty Chocolat Lip Lipgloss

I’m sad to say Lunasol Melty Chocolat Lip Lipgloss is actually a limited edition product so best get on it if you find this review creates lemming. These come in a chubby barrel packaging with a sponge applicator for application that quite resemble Sonia Kashuk Grand Bazaar Liquid Lip. Apparently they are supposed to have a sweet chocolate-y flavor and fragrance but I honestly don’t get that at all and anything I am tasting or smelling is very, very, very faint.

The colors gradate from a lighter caramel to a darker chocolate rose. All the shades are very natural looking on lips but depending how you like your nude lip to go you can either go with a lighter shade or a darker one. I will say ALL three shades are beautifully natural and look incredible on lips, providing just enough color to look very, very natural and pretty! They are shades you’ll likely reach for daily because they look so amazing on!

Lunasol Melty Chocolat Lip Swatches (Milk Chocolat, Chocolat Brown, Rose Chocolat)

Shades include:

  • Milk Chocolat (nude caramel beige)
  • Chocolat Brown (milk chocolate)
  • Rose Chocolat (rose chocolate)

Since these are pretty expensive ($35) I would suggest Rose Chocolat as a not to be missed shade but if you can indulge in all three I’d totally recommend doing so.

These have a thicker texture that spreads easily on lips with a slightly tacky yet glossy finish that wears for a solid four hours. They aren’t super pigmented but the color they do provide is plenty enough to give lips a very natural pretty hint of color. I find the act of finding a nude lipgloss that doesn’t make me look like a zombie very challenging but all three of these shades are perfect variations of nude that look incredible on lips!

Lunasol Melty Chocolat Lip are a bit expensive but I really loved these and I’m quite saddened they are limited edition.

Lunasol Melty Chocolat Lip are available now at gooddealer.com which ships to the US.
