Clarins Ombre Iridescente

It has been way too long since I’ve blogged Clarins. Clarins is such an underrated makeup brand that does not get its just deserves because I think people might be a little scared of it or think of it as a more mature makeup line. I am absolutely a lover of the brand and always get terribly excited about their launches.

Lately though, Clarins has been a little quiet on the makeup front so I’m delighted to see new Ombre Iridescente Eyeshadows available for Spring 2016. If you recall Ombre Matte Eyeshadows launched a few years ago and I loved them! They are soft, creamy, easy to apply, and delightfully understated yet elegant and chic.

These have the same exact formula of the original mattes but now are available in a sparkly finish formula that adds light and radiance to eyes. The originals are really great to work with! I wouldn’t say they were a cream but they do have a certain creaminess to the texture and they apply very, very easily on lids. I suspect more of the same from these new iridescent ones!

Shades include:

  • Silver Green
  • Silver Plum
  • Silver Ivory

Clarins Ombre Iridescente Cream-to-Powder Iridescent Eyeshadow are launching on counters now or get them online at Nordstrom.com.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. These are so pretty, but I wonder why they named the pink one “Silver Green?”

These look really gorgeous colours and I have the Clarins Forest Quad, which is completely gorgeous. I agree that the brand is underrated, but their products are always good. Their gifts with purchase are excellent.
