Kate Somerville Melrose Place Set Thank You For Introducing Me To Oil Free Moisturizer

Kate Somerville Melrose Place Set

I love the Holidays! It’s the best time of the year to grab deals like the Kate Somerville Melrose Place Set ($85) because not only do you get to try out something new maybe but you also get to stock up on favorites at a value price.

This set comes with Kate Somerville Gentle Daily Wash (4 oz), Kate Somerville Oil Free Moisturizer (0.5 oz), and one of my favorites from Kate, her Exfolikate Intensive Exfoliating Treatment (2 oz).

I had already tried ExfoliKate Intensive Exfoliating Treatment so this boxed set introduced me to two other products I hadn’t yet tried and it also made me a huge lover of the Oil Free Moisturizer! So obsessed with this at the moment.

Take a peek!

If you purchased these items individually it would set you back around $138 so you’re saving a nice little bit on the set. $85 seems a lot for three products but when you’re doing the math you are getting a nice deal and Kate’s products aren’t exactly cheap so this gets you a nice amount of product for less.

I have a detailed review of ExfoliKate Intensive Exfoliating Treatment which you can click here to view. This doesn’t get the most kindly of reviews around as it is pretty intense and contains ingredients that might upset skin. Personally, I love it. It’s a green scrub/mask which you apply as a thin layer on your face and wait for two minutes. As you apply be sure to gently massage into skin and when rinsing with water be sure to massage gently so you’re getting the benefit of the graininess of the scrub which whisks away dry, flaky skin. It does have a pretty intense tingle and it does leave skin with looking a bit pink after use. It’s one of my harsher exfoliating scrubs but it also happens to be one of the scrubs that makes my face look the brightest and smoothest.

Kate Somerville Oil Free Moisturizer is actually the star of this set for me. It’s something I would never purchase for myself and it comes as a surprise I even liked it. This was created for combination skin types and it is a pretty basic yet fabulous moisturizer. I’m always look for moisturizers that are super rich and hydrating that’s why I’ve passed on this time and time again. The fact that it was included in the kit kinda forced me to try it out. And how glad am I that it did come in this set? It’s great! This is a thin, slightly runny consistency that absorbs in a snap. I’ve dry but it still manages to provide plenty of moisture to my skin plus it wears beautifully under makeup and leaves my complexion looking smooth and soft. I will definitely be purchasing a full size of it soon!

Kate Somerville Melrose Place Set7

Kate Somerville Gentle Daily Wash is a foaming wash that quite reminds me of First Aid Beauty Face Cleanser. It lathers up quite nicely and rinses away quickly leaving skin fresh and clean!

The Kate Somerville Melrose Place Set was a fab way to introduce me to something new and an excellent way to grab a tube of my favorite exfoliator. If you never tried Kate’s skincare this is a great little introduce set as well.

The Kate Somerville Melrose Place Set is available now at Sephora.com.

Oh interesting, never thought an oil-free moisturizer would work that well for dry skin. Will see if I can get a sample to try

Yessss I got this too during the VIB Rouge Sephora sale ! Such a good deal, since you get a full size of the ExfoliKate. The 2 other items are practically free.
