Kiko Fusion Face Serum Review
Kiko Fusion Moisture Enhancing Face Serum ($19) is available in a moisturizing, brightening, and toning formulation for a limited time. Ugh right? Limited edition skincare is all kinds of no for me especially when I really like the formula.
But yup, Kiko’s new Fusion Face Serums are available for a limited time.
I recently picked up the Kiko Crystal Fusion and and Kiko Nutri Fusion Serums for $19 each at my local Kiko Cosmetics Store. At the time they didn’t have the Energy Fusion formula and I sadly forgot to purchase it during the Kiko Black Friday and Cyber Monday Sale grrrr! So I’ll have to grab that one up soon too before these disappear.
Take a peek!
These are fab little serums although I will say you might want to take “serum” with a grain of salt as to me they remind me of more of an essence or a lotion versus a serum. Each serum is 1.69 oz in size and comes housed in a rather cute clear oval bottle with a pump. I love how they look! They kinda have this “we come in peace” alien thing going on! Like something you’d find in the future, aboard a flight headed for Mars, carrying a ton of pilgrims in search of new lands to colonize. Sorry, I’m reading too much NASA news lately, that damn rover is too interesting.
My favorite of the two serums is the Crystal Fusion Moisture Enhancing Face Serum which contains hyaluronic acid. This is a gel-like consistency that absorbs easily into skin and has a soft, soothing aquatic fragrance. If you’re not into fragranced skincare you might need to skip out on this but personally I liked the pleasant fragrance. It leaves skin very nicely prepped for moisturizer and adds a nice bit of hydration itself while softening and smoothing skin. I love that I can use this at night or in the day. Typically serums are a little too rich for daily use but this absorbs easily without leaving my skin greasy or shiny plus it allows my moisturizer to absorb even more easily and allows my skin to retain more moisture.
I didn’t like the Nutri Fusion Firmness Enhancing Face Serum as much. This has a light fresh floral fragrance and doesn’t leave my skin as soft as the Crystal formula. This is actually formulated to improve the skin’s elasticity and to tone skin so it looks plumper. I guess I don’t really have any issues with the elasticity of my skin as of yet so that’s why I’m not seeing much of a change. It has the same gel consistency as the Crystal Fusion and absorbs just as easily but it’s a little tiny bit sticky in comparison.
I really need to grab up the brightening formula and a back up of the Crystal one before these disappear.
Ugh!
Do so hate limited edition skincare.
If you’re looking for a little extra moisture I’d highly recommend the Crystal Fusion Moisture Enhancing Face Serum!
