Snoopy x Skinfood Royal Honey Good Moisturizing Cream

Snoopy x Skinfood Royal Honey Good Moisturizing Cream is a limited edition multitasking moisturizer for both face and body that released earlier this Fall in Korea. I happen to be a huge Peanuts fan (and a Skinfood one too!) so I was delighted when a friend of mine from Korea surprised me with the entire Snoopy x Skinfood Collection for Christmas. It wasn’t something that I had yet picked up for myself even though it was on my wish list so it was such a pleasant surprise when it arrived in my mail box.

The collection includes a cushion foundation, lipgloss, a face mask, moisturizer, polishes, and other fun goodies. It’s all focused around Snoopy and Woodstock but the cushion makeup and whipped body cream does feature the entire Peanuts gang on the cover which I thought was cute.

I actually had a hard time cracking open the Snoopy x Skinfood Royal Honey Good Moisturizing Cream due to the cute packaging but hey, YOLO (you only live once) right? I’ve kinda outgrown the stage where I want to keep everything in my makeup and beauty vault.

Let’s take a look!

Snoopy Skinfood Royal Honey Good Moisturizing Cream

Snoopy x Skinfood Royal Honey Good Moisturizing Cream is a sad limited edition product. Boo! Hopefully it’ll be re-released again in different packaging at some point. Skinfood has a Royal Honey Collection, you might remember I reviewed the Royal Honey Eye Cream, but this moisturizer isn’t anything like the products from that range.

Skinfood recommends this one for either your face or your body but personally I like it on my face best. It’s a gel-like cream consistency that absorbs very quickly into skin leaving it soft and smooth. It makes for a nice AM moisturizer for me especially in the cooler weather when I’m a bit drier. However, if you have pretty dry skin this is too light a moisturizer to make a difference in your skin. I have drier elbows, knees, etc…and this didn’t provide enough moisture to my skin. I will say it’s a pleasure to use on my legs, arms, etc…as it isn’t sticky, it isn’t thick, and it doesn’t make me feel greasy and wears well under clothes (nothing worst than applying moisturizer and having your clothes stock to you after). But sadly, the hydration factor is too light for me.

On my face it does provide a nice lasting moisture to my skin so I’m all about it in this area. Strangely enough it has no fragrance. Skinfood typically scents their moisturizer with a light fresh citrus-y fragrance or an aquatic one of some sort but this didn’t have any fragrance.

Yes, Snoopy x Skinfood Royal Honey Good Moisturizing Cream is adorable as you can see! Snoopy and Woodstock decorate the front of the box and tube but most important this also proves a practical and simple moisturizer for your face that wears well under makeup without leaving skin oily or shiny plus it seems to retain moisture nicely.
