Today’s adventures around Nordstrom.com revealed the beauty of Kimchi. Why Nordstrom has a Homemade Kimchi Kit under beauty is beyond me but hey, I’m not complaining as I love me some kimchi.

But yeah, if you’re browsing beauty today at Nordstrom don’t be too surprised if you run across kimchi!

What’s your morning starting out like today?

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Most randomest ever.
    I love kimchi too!

Muse, if you buy it, please review

LOL is it bad to say yes I did buy it!? haha! I was just too damn curious! I’ve never attempted to make kimchi in my life. I’ve watched a variety of my friends aunts and grandmother’s for years making it but I burn boiling water so I never attempted such an adventure. Maybe this kit will make it easy?! haha! I’ll let you know how it works out!

So funny! They must know people are in love with Korean stuff!

Hope your Kim chi comes out tasty

    • Isabella Muse

haha! yeah! K-beauty trending throw in some kimchi! 😀 haha I have a feeling it is going to be a horror story!

Since kimchi is fermented, it has a lot of probiotics, good for health and maybe for skin, too? Hey, if you can put snail mucous in creams and sell $1 Billion dollars worth, why not kimchi? I have to say, those snail creams are good. Uh oh, I can see the next K-Pop beauty trend — kimchi sheet masks, kimchi brightening cream, kimchi face scrub

    • Isabella Muse

HAHAHAHAAAAAAAAA! Kimchi face masks yes please! You can wear it and eat it after!

  • Joyce

LOL that’s so funny. I love my kimchi super fermented. My husband likes his super fresh–like just-made. I remember the first time he tried it (he’s American). His facial expression was priceless. He likes it now but can only eat it with meat!

Side note: I LOOOOVE kimchi with French toast! *chuckle*

    • Isabella Muse

kimchi and french toast?! I never tried that!!!!!!! HA! sweet and sour!

Muse, my morning was pewp. I had a 2 hour root canal yesterday (which was not only horribly uncomfortable but also emotionally draining), and I wanted nothing more than to crawl back into bed. But I got through the day, and just finished baking a batch of the best gingerbread cookies in the world. So ending the day considerably better than it started! 😀

    • Isabella Muse

ugh sorry Nat! Root canal ouch! Can I come over for gingerbread cookies?!

      • Nat

They are almost gone already, haha! I’m taking the rest to a meeting at work today, and they have been very popular. 🙂

Korean BBQ and all the kimchi I can eat yes please! And all the cutest beauty items arriving to CVS I can’t hardly wait to discover them! I’m in trouble cause there’s one near too near my house as in 2-3 miles. Yikes! I keep checking for them.
