About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. *sigh* The second I saw this I IMMEDIATELY put it in my cart. Then removed it. Then put it back. It looks STUNNING and it so perfect for easy everyday looks…. I just feel like I probably have dupes in my stash. I’m sure I do…

But I still think I’m going to get it haha.

I like this. It’s good to see the burgundy, purple and navy. It’s seems like the BB palettes have been all nudes for so long now. The dark colors with be nice for lining or smoking out a look.

This is beautiful. Bobbi Brown is the first compact palettes I bought many many years ago. From eyeshadow to lip palettes and she still makes the best compact palettes in my opinion.

This is a sensational palette – just love the colours (not too warm) and the inclusion of navy fills my heart with joy. The brushes are pretty good too. Are you going to get this Isabella? Because I would love to read your review of it.

Curious if the bottom 3 shades are the highly pigmented eye liners that are in the BB palate sold at Sephora this Christmas 2015.

I have resolved not to buy another BB palette until there are less sparkle/metallic shades in the palettes and they are made of greater quality (too much fallout in some palettes).

Would love to hear thoughts from those who purchased or reviewed the Spring palette.

I am hoping this palette comes to the UK as I like the colors and the dark shades which could be used like the liners asTracey says they are like those were out before Christmas. (I got the dark blue version of that)
Also I love all those eyeshadow brushes especially the angled eyeshadow brush so some new versions of these wont go a miss!

But I prob have very similar shades in other palettes!!

NB Anyone who thinkgs there is too much fallout from the sparkle / metallic shades (which I love) should try wearing on top of a shadow cream stick. The sparkle seems to adhere to the cream shadow adn last all day.

Am such a magpie I wear sparkle shadow all the time and to work!

Wearing a cream shadow as a base is a good idea. I’ll try that. I have many BB palettes that I quite like and where the shimmer is fine but have others where the fallout ended up all over my face. I’ve moved to other brands where this isn’t an issue or have put together my own BB palette (thankfully, I have a CCO not too far away). I see the BB has announced a neutrals palette with all matte shades.
