The It Cosmetics New Year, Your Most Beautiful Skin 6-Piece Set is probably one of my favorite It Cosmetics sets of the moment. Don’t get me wrong anytime It Cosmetics does a QVC Set it’s always a tremendous value but many times they include either their powder foundation or their CC Cream both products of which that I own plenty of. They are have super soft bristles, sturdy handles, and are a well made brush all around that deliver flawless, airbrushed results no matter what product you use them with and no matter formula that product is in. Be it cream, powder, liquid, fluid, or other, these brushes all deliver fantastic results. I have a little army of them in my collection and I’m always delighted to add more to my collection.

You get one full size compact of CC+ Veil in this set as well as the brand new refill cartridge which snaps easily into your compact when it’s time for a refill.

CC+ Veil Cushion is exactly as the name implies, a cushion, saturated with a sheer, lightweight fluid makeup that feels virtually weightless on skin and manages to create a smooth, flawless, gorgeous finish on skin. This is an HG (holy grail) foundation for me as it gives my skin but better appearance. I don’t desire nor need a ton of coverage and this is just enough to give me soft, natural, second skin-like coverage that brightens up my entire complexion. Je Ne Sais Quoi is a bright medium pink that gives lips and cheeks a flush of natural pink. With Valentine’s Day around the corner this playful shade of pink is ideal to celebrate with. I did an extensive review of the Blurred Lines Lipstick when it original launched last year which can be found here. This formula is a balmy lipstick formula that glides on easily without fragrance or flavor. They provide gorgeous color with light hydration and a soft, light sheen finish that wears for three or so hours. All the shades in the collection give a very gorgeous my lips but better appearance with a weightless, comfortable wear that keeps lips pleasantly moist.

The CC+ Cream Blush is a thin, sheer gel blush that blends easily onto cheek bones and leaves behind a natural flush of sheer pink. This isn’t an intense blush, it applies very sheer and in doing so looks more natural and seamless on skin especially drier skin or a complexion that has visible pores. It wears for about six hours on my dry skin before showing signs of fading. It’s one of my favorite blush and go products as it takes very, very, very little work to apply and gives a perfect flush every single time without hassle.
