Milani Length In Seconds Lash Extension Fibers Review
Milani Length In Seconds Lash Extension Fibers ($7.99) is a new lash fiber formula that arrived with the Milani Spring 2016 Collection. Bless be, finally someone is releasing fibers outside of a duo!
I’ve always expressed how much I wish that Too Faced would make their fibers available out of their Better Than False Lashes Nylon Lash Extension System. Seriously, just give me the fibers, I don’t need the mascara.
Since Too Faced released their False Lash Extension System many drugstore brands have launched their own variations. Recently, Wet n Wild launched their Lash-O-Matic Mascara + Fiber Extension Kit with their Spring 2016 Collection and Physicians Formula also revamped their fiber mascara duo with the introduction of Eye Booster Instant Doll Lash Extension Kit. You can see the recurring theme here right? All duos or sets that include a mascara. Although I will say that Essence launched Voluminizing Lash Powder which is, you guessed it, JUST THE FIBERS! YAY!
I just like the idea of using fibers with my own favorite mascara and not being forced into both a fiber and a mascara purchase. I mean don’t get me wrong some of these sets are fabulous but I like the idea of having the option of purchasing just the fibers. I also like this option because have you ever noticed the damn fibers are so much smaller than the mascaras they come with? As I use the fibers all up and have plenty of mascara left over. So the option of purchasing fibers only is a no brainer for me.
Milani Length In Seconds Lash Extension Fibers is basically the same concept as going out and purchasing Too Faced’s fibers without the included mascara plus it’s a super budget friendly way to get your fiber game on.
Length In Seconds Lash Extension Fibers is $7.99 and houses 0.028 of fibers with an attached spoolie for application. If you’ve never used fibers before they are fairly easy to apply and Milani’s formula isn’t one that has fall out issues nor is it a matter of feeling like you have something in your eye after applying them. To apply the fibers simply apply your favorite mascara, now stroke the fibers through your lashes, coat them well, now seal off the look by applying another layer of mascara! Done!
What exactly do the fibers do?
These have a cobweb-like consistency that look like little puffs of cotton on my lashes. Once you apply mascara those puffs attached to your lashes and created a fuller appearance. I wouldn’t say Milani’s fibers added a ton of lash but they did add a very nice fullness to my lashes. As I mentioned above I had no issues with fall out and these didn’t flake up or irritate my eyes. They also came off easily at the end of the night with my eye makeup remover. Application was easy enough as well and I didn’t feel like these caused clumping during my mascara application. I used them in conjunction with Tarte Lights, Camera, and Lashes Mascara as well as a few other different formulas and it performed well with all of them.
There are a lot of fiber extensions sets out there which are excellent picks but I have to say I personally love the idea of being able to purchase fibers all their own and using them with my favorite mascaras. Milani Length In Seconds Lash Extension Fibers makes that possible. These fibers add some length and really great fullness to my lashes plus the budget friendly price makes them a keeper.
