spring 2016 fragrances

There a ton of new fragrances available now and coming soon for the Spring 2016 season! I can’t even begin to make a fragrance wish list as it might turn into a book. Ralph Love, Daisy Dream Blush, a new Annick Goutal fragrance (one of my favorite brands), and many others.

Take a look at these new fragrances either available now or coming soon!

Avon Ultra Sexy Heart Eau de Toilette Spray $14
Avon’s new take on their Ultra Sexy Pink fragrance is inspired by gifts of love, Maraschino cherries, red rose petals and chocolate marshmallow! This gourmand blend promises notes of juicy cherry, blackberry, and mandarin on a bed of red rose petals and vanilla orchid with a beautiful dry note of chocolate marshmallows and sandalwood.

Annick Goutal Rose Pompon Perfume
I look forward to the launch of Rose Pompon as I love the original Annick Goutal rose fragrance and this one has a new twist with both floral and fruit notes of rose, pink pepper, blackcurrant, raspberry, and patchouli with white musk!

Dolce & Gabbana Dolce Rosa Excelsa
D & G’s newest fragrance will have a heart of two roses, African Dog Rose and Turkish Rose, mixed with softer musk, cashmere, and gentle floral notes for a fresh, rose fragrance.

Ralph Lauren Ralph Love Eau de Toilette $42
My taste in fragrance has evolved since high school but I have to say, to this day, Ralph remains one of my very favorite fragrances. I look forward to the introduce of Ralph Love this Spring with it’s promise of a playful potion that contains notes of red apple and pink cotton candy combined with rose. Apparently this one will be all sweet and playful!

Marc Jacobs Daisy Dream Blush $78
Daisy’s latest limited edition blend has a heart of violet leaves combined with lily of the valley and a charming blend of clean musks and freesia.

What are some fragrances you’re looking forward to this Spring?

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Hi Muse! Can you or your readers help me out?—I really like the scent of mimosa flower–and wondering what are good choices for fragrances featuring it? Was thinking of Jo Malone’s Mimosa and Cardamom…but have no sample and it’s expensive if I don’t love!
Thanks. I have been enjoying a nice sampler from Aerin with spring-y scents–Lilac Path…and Gucci Bamboo is on my shopping list! Not brand new, of course. Thanks for the great postings….Elaine

ANOTHER Marc Jacobs perfume? :S I wish he would bring something out unique and different to all his other perfumes, like he has done with Decadence. :S

I love my little bottle of Ralph by Ralph Lauren! I use it for work. ^_^ Such a classic.

Hi–muse–can you help me find some fragrances (not too expensive) that feature mimosa flower? Perhaps your readers can help! I want to try Jo Malone’s Mimosa and Cardamom. Have enjoyed a sampler of Aerin fragrances–think spring w/ Lilac Path….Many thanks, love your posts! Elaine

Hi Elaine! How are you? Thank you! So glad you enjoy Musings of a Muse! Kenzo Summer is a nice one! It’s a warmer blend but quite lovely. Yves St. Laurent Cinema (fragrance.net probably has it very cheap) is also a nice mimosa flower blend. Clinique Happy in Bloom is a nice cheerful blend with mimosa! Agent Provocateur Maitresse also contains the note but I think it’s a more powdery layer in this fragrance, still lovely none the less. Hopefully my readers can give you a few more recommendations 🙂
