About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. Hi Sweetheart, Happy New Year!
I find that strobing is just too subtle and minimalist to work with just highlighters. Maybe it’s just me, but I get much better results from straight out Illuminators. I’m also really amused by this and all the Contour palettes hitting this Spring!!! I’ve been contouring since the 1970’s…lol!!! It’s not exactly “new”!!! Just like me!!! 😉 But I guess that’s just marketing, for ya!!!

Hmm – I am not into strobing, contouring, highlighting etc at all. I think some of these products are around just to get us to spend more money. However that is a pretty palette and if you were going to try strobing I would start off with this.

I’ve been into contouring/highlighting long before it was a trend, so I’m personally happy to see so many options available, without costing a fortune, and/or improvising with other products. There was a time the only reasonably priced options were eyeshadows or theatrical makeup, which is not only readily available in stores, but can be difficult to work with for everyday effect. I don’t think it’s any more the industry trying to get us to spend more than when they release 150 shades of red lipstick; how many does one person really “need”…?

I literally just placed an order on ulta.com…

I picked up the cream contour palette over the weekend, and I *love* it! Unfortunately, I didn’t see this one in-store, or I would have definitely picked it up, as well. Hopefully it’ll be in stores soon; I can’t justify another online order, with $6 shipping, for just one item, LOL!

Picked up this product recently and I love it . Especially the three shades in the larger pans. I think it is totally worth the money . For some reason, there is not much buzz about this product ? I wonder why….
