Yes to Coconut Ultra Hydrating Facial Souffle Moisturizer Review

Yes to Coconut Ultra Hydrating Facial Souffle Moisturizer

Yes to Coconut Ultra Hydrating Facial Souffle Moisturizer is one of many beauty products you’ll find at the drugstore for Spring 2016. This one, for me, was a very exciting moisturizer as it caters to extra dry skin, it’s Winter and cold, and my skin is dry and in need of as much moisture as possible.

So yup, I’m on board with Yes to Coconut Ultra Hydrating Facial Souffle Moisturizer!

Yes to Coconut Ultra Hydrating Facial Souffle Moisturizer ($14.99) is probably one of my favorite drugstore picks at the moment. Not everyone is going to love this formula but as a girl with dry skin I love it.

Ok, so one strike against it would be the packaging. It sadly comes in a pot but if you can get past that you’re in for a treat.

It took me a while to figure out exactly what the texture of this cream reminded me of and finally I figured it out! Steam Cream! Yes to Coconut Ultra Hydrating Facial Souffle Moisturizer formula feels a lot like Steam Cream’s texture and consistency. This is a very soft almost fluffy (but not whipped) moisturizer that looks and feels almost like a body cream. At first I thought it might have the same texture as CeraVe Skin Renewing Night Cream but CeraVe’s formula is actually much more firmer. Yes to Coconuts has a softer consistency that’s very, very creamy. It absorbs fairly easily into my skin but it does kind of feel greasy. I give myself a little facial massage with it to get it fully absorbed into my skin. You might want to avoid using it on your forehead as I felt in this area it added excess oil.

This is for night use only in my opinion as it is much to hydrating for daily use and won’t wear well under makeup as per the name it is indeed “ultra hydrating”. But as a nightly moisturizer is is amazing. It leaves my skin so soft and so smooth. I wake up in the morning with such well hydrated skin!

It does have a fresh coconut water fragrance that I find very pleasant but if you’re sensitive you might not like that.

Those suffering from drier skin should love this one. Heads up thought as I said this one can feel greasy but it does absorb fully and the fact that it leaves me feeling so delightful soft and hydrating in the AM makes it all worth it.

Love this stuff.

I’m putting a Muse Approval on it.

Does this have a stronger coconut scent than the other Yes to Coconuts (like the balm) items? I liked the balm but it was too fragrant for my tastes, but this sounds intriguing!

Ummm not sure? I don’t think I tried anything else from Yes to Coconuts aside from the cool enzyme mist which kinda smells like this 🙂

Thanks for this one dear! I will be picking this one up ASAP. The only thing working for me right now is argan oil and I need a heavy cream to add into the rotation.

In other news, I just put in two crazy orders for Solstice Scents and Cocoa Pink. I will email you with the deets AND I need to get that sample to you now that the holiday crazy mail is done !!!

I got this at Ulta a few days ago and they were having %20 off the yes to coconuts range and I was able to use a coupon so I got it for a really good price. I liked it so far, especially the smell. I did feel a sort of burning sensation so not sure if it is because of the fragance.

Oh count me in! I like the coconut water smell, and this is full of my fave ingredients (aloe, coconut, shea, jojoba oil, sunflower oil) and fragrance is last on the list, so should be ok for me. My forehead and under eyes get very dry, so will dot this on at night. Thanks for the review!
