Etude House Berry Delicious Strawberry Lip Jam Scrub Review
Etude House Berry Delicious Strawberry Lip Jam Scrub is a new, limited edition exfoliating lip scrub that launched with the Etude House Berry Delicious Collection. Sometimes Etude House keeps certain products on after releasing them in a limited edition collection. I have hopes that the Etude House Strawberry Lip Jam Scrub remains around after the Berry Delicious Collection disappears as I’m loving this scrub.
I typically use Sara Happ The Lip Scrub and I like it a lot but I must admit that Etude House Berry Delicious Strawberry Lip Jam Scrub can very, very easily become my new HG (holy grail) lip scrub.
I love this stuff! If you have dry, flaky lips you need it.
Etude House Berry Delicious Strawberry Lip Jam Scrub comes housed in a 0.52 oz glass jar with a colorful gingham lid. It reminds me of the little jam pots you get at British or Parisian hotels with your croissants. It’s cute to say the least but what’s inside is equally fantastic.
The exfoliating ingredients are made up of strawberry seeds, walnut shell powder, and sugar. It’s actually not a harsh scrub at all due to the very, very soft, emollient petroleum base. This is super slick, super soft, and super moist on lips. I actually love how easy it glides across lips as I gently buff it in. Sara Happ and many other exfoliating lip treatments tend to have a very chunky base so little pieces of sugar are falling all over the place as you buff. Etude House’s formula remains in place as you scrub and you won’t have an issue with chunky sugar bits falling all over the place. The funny thing is not only does it exfoliate but it also gently hydrates lips during and well after the scrub has been removed. I apply it like I would a lip balm! Just smooth my finger back and forth across my lips. It has an easy, slick glide and the grains are plenty enough to gently exfoliate away dry, flaky areas without being too rough. I can’t express enough how much I love the jelly-like texture of this formula.
It does have a citrus-y sugar-y flavor. I wouldn’t say it tasted like strawberries but it does have some sort of citrus sugar taste that was quite pleasant to me. My lips have been in rather poor shape this week. Chapped, flaky, and quite dry! A quick buff with this and today my lips are looking fabulous.
Anyway, as I said above sometimes Etude House will keep on certain products from a limited edition collection and I have hopes Etude House Strawberry Lip Jam Scrub will be one of those things that sticks around but if not I purchased four more last night just in case ha!
Muse Approved.
Etude House Berry Delicious Strawberry Lip Jam Scrub is available now from a variety of Ebay.com sellers (Etudehouse.com has it as well but I dislike how long they take to ship items!).
